I can attach these to poison yellow eggs.

Spikes can only be found in the Barbarian Assault minigame on the 10^th wave. The person designated as the attacker must take them from the petrified mushroom. Their only use to be used upon an Omega egg. This item is automatically removed from your inventory when you leave the Barbarian Assault staging cavern.
