Spirit gems are summoning gems that are able to store uncharged summoning pouches. The three gems are spirit sapphire, spirit emerald, and spirit ruby. The total amount of pouches and charges the gems have are 5, 10, and 20 respectively. These gems are function similarly to Runecrafting pouches. However, the gems are destroyed once all charges are consumed. Players can obtain spirit gems from any monsters who drops a single summoning charm.

- Quickchat option has three additional spirit gems, not found within the game, these are: Spirit diamond, Spirit dragonstone, and Spirit onyx. This is believed to be an oversight by Jagex.
