The spotted kebbit is a creature that may be hunted for experience and its fur. They can only be hunted in the falconry area east of the Piscatoris Hunter area.
Players with level 43 Hunter may borrow a falcon for 500 coins and use it to hunt this type of kebbit. Catching one grants 104 experience, a set of regular bones and some spotted kebbit fur. The fur can be made into spotted capes in Varrock's Fancy Dress Shop for 400 coins.
It is possible to fail to catch one. If successful, the falcon will land on the kebbit and a yellow blinking arrow will appear above it. A player will keep the borrowed falcon even if they log out. However, once the player leaves the area, they must pay again for a new falcon if they wish to resume hunting the kebbits. If a player attempts to catch a spotted kebbit without a falcon, the kebbit will escape.
Trivia[]
- If you fail to catch the kebbit, it attempts to move at least 1 square away. If it is blocked by another kebbit, a player or a fence, it doesn't always walk away.
