A steadfast scale can be obtained as a drop from rune dragons and monsters from the Temple of Aminishi. Two of them can be attached to steadfast boots to create level 90 emberkeen boots. The process cannot be reversed by any means, other than degradation through combat.
Rune dragons can only drop this item when killed during a slayer task, while elite rune dragons can drop this item without the need of being assigned rune dragons as a slayer task.
