Steel boots are armour pieces worn in the footwear slot. The player needs at least 20 Defence to wear these armoured boots. To obtain steel boots, the player can either obtain them as a drop from pyrefiends or from harpie bug swarms, defeated with at least level 30 or 33 Slayer respectively, or from trading with another player.

As with all metal boots, this item cannot be made using the Smithing skill.
