Steel equipment

Template:Beta Steel equipment is equipment stronger than iron equipment. As with all things steel, they are of light, silvery-grey colour.

Steel weapons give low attack bonuses. Players require an Attack level of 20 to wield them. They are more expensive and powerful than iron, but less powerful than black/white and mithril equipment. Some of the weapons are used in the quest In Search of the Myreque.

Armour

Steel armour, the third-lowest quality armour on the standard metal armour spectrum (bronze to dragon), requires 5 Defence to wear. A full set of steel armour, which includes a full helmet, a platebody, platelegs, and a kiteshield, sells for 2,500 to 5,000 coins.
