The Steel javelin is a Ranged throwing weapon. To wield one the player must have at least 20 Range. Because the javelin is a one-handed weapon, it can be wielded with a shield or god book for protection.

They can be obtained either by buying from the Ranging Guild or the Void Knight Outpost, trading with another player or as a monster drop.
