A studded leather coif is an improved version of the soft and hard leather cowls. It requires level 20 Defence to wear and is the fourth best head gear for Ranged combat available to free players, after the carapace helm, green dragonhide coif, and blue dragonhide coif. The value of one studded leather coif in Mobilising Armies is 41 Investment Credits.

Players can make this item through the Crafting skill at level 38 by adding steel studs to a leather cowl, giving 37 Crafting experience. Members can also turn it into a feather headdress at level 79 crafting with 20 coloured feathers.

Coifs can also be obtained through easy Treasure Trails.
