Superhero lightning is a reward for completing 20 super challenges during the Super September event. They work as overrides for a number of thrown weapons, including blisterwood stakes, darts, throwing knives, holy water, mud pies, snowballs, and waterballoons.

- This override may be based on the Marvel character Storm or the DC character Static; both are known for using lightning/electricity bolts as weapons and/or powers.
- When sheathed, this override can be seen as two orbs that float near your hips.
- This does not work for some thrown weapons such as throwing axes and javelins
