Changes: Surge spells

A player casting Wind Surge.

Surge spells are the strongest group of magic spells in the normal spellbook, aside from the God spells and Iban Blast. These spells were added to the spellbook on the 17 November 2009 update. Each spell requires 1 death rune, 1 blood rune and at least 7 air runes, in addition to elemental runes pertinent to their type. It is possible to hit over 1000 on ice strykewyrms with Fire Surge while wearing a fire cape, arcane stream necklace and wielding a staff of light or Chaotic Staff.

On 24 June 2010 all surge spells as well as other elemental spells received a graphical make-over.
