Suzaku the Vermillion Bird is a known legendary creature of the east.[1]
This creature is also mentioned in the Exile and the Whaler joint voyages in player-owned port, "The Exile and the Whaler have discovered the nest of Suzaku, the Giant Vermillion bird, perched on a mountain overlooking the Pearl Fortress. They wish to explore the legendary beast's nest."
