Tagging is when two or more players who are part of a team take turns killing the same opponent in a single-way combat area. It is most commonly used on PvP worlds and clan wars, but is also sometimes used in other situations. Tagging is usually frowned upon and is widely considered to be dishonourable, but can give the player a big advantage.

Examples

Normal tagging: Player A fights Player B in single-way combat. Player A is low on health and starts eating. This means that no one is attacking Player B, therefore another player can attack Player B. This is usually used when two players of a lower level team up on a higher leveled player.

Switch tagging: Player A and Player B are friends. Player A attacks Player C. When Player A is busy eating, Player B attacks player C. When Player B starts eating, Player A attacks Player C again. Usually used in PvP worlds or Bounty Worlds.

Opponent stealing: Player A is attacking a lesser demon and stops to eat. Player B attacks the lesser demon.

Run while they eat: Player A is fighting Player B and knows that he/she will lose. Player B stops to eat. Player A quickly runs/teleports.

Suicide tagging: Player A attacks Player B. Player A is losing and cannot run away. Player C (who is not risking anything) attacks Player B. Player A escapes while Player B is busy killing Player C.
