Ability Accuracy

Many times I've used abilities and failed many times in a row, despite having relatively high levels of attack (61), strength (62) and magic (59) and using the best weaponry out there for F2P. What determines the chance to hit of abilities? 200.86.246.95 03:43, January 20, 2013 (UTC)

Sharing cooldown

Some abilities share a cool down. But this is not well listed, I was wondering if we could make that easy to make out. Perhaps similar to this list on the Ancient Curses page. Personally, I would say that colour-coding the rows (rather than merely using numerical foot notes) would make it easier to make out which abilities share a cool down timer.

Also, I would like to add useful suggestions, so people can set up an ability bar with more ease and effectiveness. E.g. 1st use: Kick then: Punish. {{SUBST:Signatures/Leon_Art}} (talk) 20:52, December 28, 2012 (UTC)

Active Spell's Damage

What do you mean by active spell's damage if you are not casting any magic spells but unarmed? Alex.aaa789 (talk) 12:35, February 18, 2013 (UTC)

Sorry, what? Do you mean how can you deal spell damage if you use the ability and not the spell? - Well it's the dmg that the selected spell would give, where you to cast it. Note it's "selected", you don't even need runes for that, you do need the level though (because else you can't select it). . . . Ability Book animation

Just for reference, the current images for the animated gif are listed below. All gif images are 100% quality (no compression) be sure to use gimp when saving them if you're working with png format. I use Microsoft GIF animator which is an old-looking program but it does the job - and I mean makes the gifs at 100% quality when animated - it's also free by Microsoft. Combo attack

Abilities that specify "combo attack" are abilities that hit the opponent multiple times. Abyssal vine whip TonyBest100 Bandos chestplate 13:54, February 9, 2014 (UTC)

Article name change

How about moving this article to Abilities? It was originally titled Ability Book because of the RS2 interface. The actual book is figurative now. Logialian (talk) 10:47, July 19, 2014 (UTC)

Do abilities use runes / ammunition?

Do ranged and magic abilities use runes or ammunition? I realize this is easy for someone to check for themself, but I think this is good to add to the article for completeness. Also, do magic abilities with ancient magicks have a chance to trigger the special effects? Do ranged abilities have a chance to use special effects from enchanted ammunition? As I understand, the answer is no for all of these, but you need at least 1 set of runes / 1 ammo to be able to use abilities anyways. 5512tyuiop (talk) 17:59, June 5, 2017 (UTC)
