Speed multipliers[]

Are the speed multipliers correct? I would think the faster the weapon, the lower the multiplier. A faster weapon should hit quicker for less damage and a slower weapon should hit less quickly for more damage. Same with the dual wield multipliers, I would think they would be 2/3, not 3/2. I'm assuming based on the text at the top of the page that this should be the damage per hit, not dps?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 108.15.117.243 (talk) on 23:47, July 4, 2014‎ (UTC).

(reply) All abilities have the same wind-up time before another ability can be used. Since this "ability-queueing cooldown" time is same for any abilities and for any weapons of any speed, it would be overpowered for 2h weapons to just spam abilities. Therefore to balance this, 2h weapon have a lower ability damage.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.188.179.27 (talk) on 02:41, February 6, 2015 (UTC).
A side-question: Given that weapon attack speeds are part of the formula for Melee, why isn't it included in the formula for Ranged and Magic? 05:23, February 13, 2017 (UTC)

Source?[]

There's no visible source on this page so are these formulas from twitter/rsof or from intensive testing? I'd hope the author(s) of this page would add a clarification on this or on the actual page to make them more reliable.

Weapon damage for Ranged?[]

Looking at the formula for Ranged damage, the weapon damage is not included, just ammo damage. That works for things like crossbows, but if you have a shortbow or a shieldbow, how is that damage factored in? Is it added to the ammo rating? Coreolanis (talk) 20:59, July 3, 2017 (UTC)
