This talk page is for discussing the Abomination page.

Infobox Update[]

I updated this page to the new infobox, but the monster does have a second phase, so it may need some additional tweaking for the second batch of lifepoints. Also, the information pulled from the update script shows 0 for experience, so this may need confirmed (though because the player doesn't directly attack and it is more of a skilling/puzzle-boss type mechanic, it is probably right). Abomination cape[]

Abomination cape - needs to be listed as a unique drop? Mamabear47 (talk) 11:56, January 3, 2017 (UTC)

Currently all drops are split into charms, 100% drops, main drops. tertiary drops, and possibly rdt access. There isn't really any need to split off unique drops, afaik other monster articles don't do that. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 12:30, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
I forgot one. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 14:05, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
However you are of course free to suggest splitting off unique drops for all monsters on the Yew Grove Ancient talisman Oil4 Talk 12:50, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
And Oil is correct or you can be bold, however YG can be a better choice. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 14:05, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
We decided on removing arbitrary categories in this thread last year and instead grouping drops by "slot". --Iiii I I I 18:12, January 3, 2017 (UTC)
OK, I wondered what happened to unique drops. And now it's got a link back to the cape page. I see it in drops, but had a really hard time finding it. I am content now. :-) Mamabear47 (talk) 00:13, January 5, 2017 (UTC)

XP on kill[]

So I've been testing and I found out that the Abomination indeed gives XP in phase 2. It's likely based on how much damage you do to him directly.

More testing would be needed, would it be possible to confirm XP gains? I remember someone said the abomination gives no XP but when I killed him a few weeks ago, I gained XP.

Tertiary Drop[]

The Abomination cape is a tertiary drop and therefore only rolls once per kill, not twice. 14.2.186.7 18:56, December 17, 2017 (UTC)
