Thanks for your input. The combined wiki editing generally results in a pretty reasonable quest guide in a short period of time. An initial version generally only contains some quick notes made during the quest. Nice to have these notes for support during the quest. --Miw 15:47, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

Getting past the guards[]

This quide says that you should hide in the little room, and that certainly seems to be the intention. But you don't need to. You can just wait till the guards engage the goblins and then saunter past. You can even try a meander if you're daring. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 15:52, 24 April 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Vimescarrot you don't need to use the little room, just hide near the crate and wait guards engage goblins, show yourself to the guard near the exit, he will follow you, hide near the crate until he engages goblins then go easely to the exit...Urssaff 16:43, 25 April 2007 (UTC)Urssaff

HAM Mage + Ranger[]

God that part was easy. I've got 42 ranged and I did this part without armour, only Protect from Mage. I took a 1-3 damage every so often, but not enough to kill me and I only used 30 bronze bolts and kept the Crossbow (as it is unique, not a "Bronze" crossbow, for example. {{Signatures/Total Rune}}07:31, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

I kept the crossbow and used it. I didn't wear armor or use prayer on them or on sigmund. i wasn't going to use mace, but i thought you had to so i had. Mace will be excellent for pking Malestro 15:38, 25 April 2007 (UTC)

I died here the first try... Maby they should have had a warning before it was coming. Like a spoken word from the guy you talk to before that forshadowing this coming. That way you bring your best ranger stuff. 66.69.94.129 20:42, 5 May 2007 (UTC)

Errors (Updated Quest?)[]

"Clean all six artifacts by using an artifact on the specimen table—you will then end up with an armour shard, an axe head, a helmet shard, an ancient mace, a shield fragment and a sword fragment"

the item name I just got from doing the quest were 'Shield Fragment' 'Armour Shard' 'Helmet Fragment' 'Sword Fragment' 'Hatchet Head' Holypka22 08:59, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
