Tools?[]

Will it be possible to augment a crystal pickaxe or hatchet when it is already on the toolbelt? 24.124.5.101 18:16, January 26, 2016 (UTC)

I'm not sure, but tools will be augmentable in a future batch, we'll know then for sure. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 19:34, January 26, 2016 (UTC)
I forgot pickaxes and hatchets are also considered weapons, so as long they're not on your tool belt then you can augment them. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 13:48, January 27, 2016 (UTC)
Now you can have someone augment items on your toolbelt, It will remove your item, but augment them, hence making them still untradable. Same with attuning Dragon tools to crystal 75.87.108.112 22:36, April 18, 2017 (UTC)

Uncharged usage[]

What happens when you hit 0 charge on your charge pack?  Are the augmented items completely unusable, or is it just that the perks stop working?  Jimwormmaster (talk) 12:37, January 27, 2016 (UTC)

Good question. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 13:48, January 27, 2016 (UTC)
Charge pack wiki page says apparently they're equippable, but no benefits from perks.  No word on if they can gain exp while uncharged yet.  Jimwormmaster (talk) 13:15, January 31, 2016 (UTC))

Just tested this out, without a charge weapons do NOT gain experience, and also lose some efficiency. I have yet to determine the actual debuff to the weapon but it has a severe impact to damage output. It appears to be roughly 50% decrease to accuracy and %75 decrease in damage. --Kunkstar7 (talk) 17:47, January 31, 2016 (UTC)

Any idea on what effectiveness is lost for augmented tools when uncharged? If it's anything like the weapons, I'd expect a pretty severe nerf... Jimwormmaster (talk) 12:53, July 26, 2016 (UTC

Reordered List?[]

Would there be any problem with re-ordering this list into groups (One-hand weapons, Two-hand weapons, Chest, Legs, Tools) O'Ninja (talk) 07:41, January 31, 2016 (UTC)

Done. Hopefully I haven't made any mistakes --Iiii I I I 08:00, January 31, 2016 (UTC)
How about a sortable table? I suggest headers such as: Name, Level, Type (Melee, Mage, Range), Wielding (MH, OH, 2H), Value (GE). Help you find just the right item for your purposes. Pen 77 (talk) 09:52, January 31, 2016 (UTC).

Dual weilding[]

How does lvling up dual weild weapons work?

Do you get the full disasemble xp for each wep?

Do both weapons get the same weapon xp when killing, or is the weapon xp split between the two when training so that it takes twice as long to get both to lvl 10?

---

You get the full disassemble exp for an item no matter what type.  Two-handed weapons get 6% of base combat exp, main-hand get 4%, off-hand get 2%.  But it takes the same amount of stored exp on each item regardless, so off-hand take twice as long as main hand (and 3X as long as 2h)  68.187.42.230 22:44, February 13, 2016 (UTC)

Later updated in the second batch of Invention updates.  Now main-hand gets the same exp as before, two-handed get 150% exp, off-hand get 50% exp when disassembling.  Same relationship for tier 70/80/90 gear (tier 70 is 15% lower, 90 is 15% higher)  Jimwormmaster (talk) 10:01, March 25, 2016 (UTC)

Add[]

Add Akrisae to the body + legs  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ceecs (talk) on 11 February 2016 at ‎10:53.

They've been added now. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 10:06, February 11, 2016 (UTC)

Un-augmenting by PVP?[]

Should we add this? It simply works, rather than "impossible to reverse". And for those hardcore wikipedians, we even cite those jagex Mod post from reddit that this process is "working as intended". Gspbeetle (talk) 08:04, February 14, 2016 (UTC)

It has been added. :) Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 08:13, February 14, 2016 (UTC)

Siphon benefits?[]

I can imagine the benefits like 2/3/4x materials and junk chance don't apply when siphoning, but do you get inspiration for siphoning lvl 12+ items, like you do for disassembling lvl 10+? --Jimwormmaster (talk) 06:40, December 30, 2016 (UTC)

Is it possible to make this a cost usage analysis? The item will be destroyed if disassembled. 75.87.108.112 22:37, April 18, 2017 (UTC)

Level 70/75 xp rates?[]

Can someone add a part to the graph with lvl 70/75 armor/weapon xp rates? -- Mrfoxyfoxx (talk) 14:14, June 9, 2018 (UTC)

If you're referring to this table, then I'd have to say that 80 is the default that is shown. If you want to know the experience for a specific item, you can go to the page of that item where it should list how much experience it gives for that tier. For example: Augmented Ahrim's robe skirt#Disassembly for tier 70 and Augmented ganodermic leggings#Disassembly for tier 75. On those pages in that section there's a "Table of experience and effect", expand this table and you'll see the experience for that specific tier.
