consolation prize[]

The consolation prize (after entering 1 ticket) seems to be a small experience lamp. I wonder if this is always so, or if the prize varies depending on how many tickets you enter? It makes a difference to how you should use your tickets, if you care about the bonus xp. Bronzedagger (talk) 03:37, September 2, 2014 (UTC)

Hmm, the Jagex wiki is slightly ambiguous (or just badly worded) on the matter: "Any unsuccessful tickets award a single small XP lamp.", but also "Using multiple tickets for a daily raffle will give you a greater chance of winning, but you will only ever win one prize a day." I expect you always get a small XP lamp if you didn't win the main prize of that day; regardless of the amount of tickets entered (assuming you entered). Also, the lamp gives normal experience, not bonus experience; it is simply an old non-skill specific SoF lamp. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:28, September 2, 2014 (UTC)
So... Do we get one xp lamp per ticket entered? Please clarify this! Asbakkie (talk) 09:17, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
It is my understanding that you get one experience lamp per day that you entered, and did not win the main prize. Regardless of the number of tickets. But I'll know tomorrow for sure. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 09:31, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
Please let us know! :) Asbakkie (talk) 20:51, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
You are given a chance to win the main prize with each ticket that you enter, however if you do not win the prize you are given a small experience lamp for each ticket that you would not have won the main prize on. So if you enter two tickets into a days prize and don't win it, you'll get two xp lamps. Abyssal vine whip TonyBest100 Bandos chestplate 20:56, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
I put in 6 tickets today and got a golden wp armor set (bandos, ugh) and 5 lamps.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 108.66.114.171 (talk) on 03:57, September 4, 2014 (UTC).
Looks like I don't need to confirm any more that you get one lamp per ticket entered. If only I had known before, I'd have kept them all for yesterday. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:21, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Reclaim[]

Does anybody happen to know whether the golden godswords or warpriest gear can be reclaimed if lost? 107.131.118.99 05:46, September 3, 2014 (UTC)

Based on the update to the news post: no. They act like other untradable items, which should imply they end up in your gravestone if you die outside of the Wilderness, and drop a pile of coins if that happens in the Wilderness. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 09:06, September 3, 2014 (UTC)
What I got from the newspost is that it will be like items such as the Sixth-Age circuit, where it will be kept automatically, not taking up one of the items kept on death slots. Dungeoneering SirzBenjieSummoning 21:50, September 3, 2014 (UTC)

Multiple Entries[]

Is there any data on being able to win twice in the same raffle? Big Sardine 03:22, September 4, 2014 (UTC)  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Big Sardine (talk) on September 4, 2014 (UTC).

more tickets = more chances to win 1 prize. you can only win once. --User:Heavyoak/Signature 12:05, September 4, 2014 (UTC)

Warpriest only has 1 tier[]

Ryan PM apparently had a bunch of friends who couldn't wear the golden warpriest despite able to wear the normal ones. The jagex cache also only shows 1 of each of the gold warpriest. It seems only the highest tier exists for this, rather than all 3 like the normal ones. --Jlun2 (talk) 17:28, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

Also Jag wiki only shows 75 def stats: http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Golden_warpriest_of_Zamorak_helm

End Date[]

Is it scheduled to end any time soon? If so when is it scheduled to end? Puretppc (talk) 23:46, September 8, 2014 (UTC)

As the news post states, it's a September long event. It is likely that the final day will be the 30th. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:17, September 9, 2014 (UTC)

Armour sets 4x5000 or only 5000?[]

So I wondered about the armours, are there 5000 of them handed out each wednesday or are there 5000 in total divided amongst the 4 wednesdays? --JorisCeoen 09:33, September 14, 2014 (UTC)

Based on the wording from Balthazar ingame, the quantities are the number of rewards given out per day that prize is the daily prize. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 11:26, September 14, 2014 (UTC)

Final tuesday of September[]

So the final day of September is still a tuesday, which left me to wonder if Balthazar will still hand out Golden Godswords on that day (because the next one where you'll have to check isn't September anymore). Because I'd like to die to get one, this is important for me to know whether I should stock up on tickets to have a last glimp chance for the godswords or wether I'd use it on something else. --JorisCeoen 07:59, September 24, 2014 (UTC)

While Jagex has given us no information on the matter, I would assume that because Tuesday is still September, the prizes will still be handed out. You probably have time to collect whatever prizes you won until Jagex removes the NPC (even now, you could wait a week before speaking to Balthazar before collecting a prize, or experience lamps, you won). IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 08:32, September 24, 2014 (UTC)
I was wondering the same thing. Really want that ggs and havent heard back from the runescape page or elsewhere online. If they don't hand out the scheduled god sword on the final day I'm sure a lot of people would get mad having to save up for one.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 50.36.80.175 (talk) on 06:13, September 29, 2014 (UTC).
Today's news post answers it; as expected: "Balthazar's Big Raffle wraps up tomorrow, but Balthazar will be in Burthorpe until October 13th so you can collect any prizes you've yet to claim." IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 11:40, September 29, 2014 (UTC)

Has this event been removed from the game?[]

Someone just editted this article, stating that it was removed after an update. Where is the source for this? I kinda liked this event (I got a total of 4 golden sets from all the raffle's to date :P). I hope this is not true, or maybe replaced by something similar. --JorisCeoen (RS) 20:38, June 30, 2017 (UTC)

Hi, the 2016 version of the event is here: Summer_of_Adventure#Summer_Sweepstake. I marked this page as removed content as it has not been in the game in over a year. It'll be unmarked if it ever returns, but as it stands it is likely it'll return in alternative forms like 2016 version. https://i.imgur.com/xHR7zpA.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/6encXAo.png 20:41, June 30, 2017 (UTC)

Ticket entry text[]

The trivia states 10+ results in "Wow...really?" and I believe that was accurate for previous years. However, I just entered 2 tickets and got that message. Have they done away with the 2-6 and 7-9 messages or flipped them around? Dsctatom (talk) 20:36, August 31, 2017 (UTC)

Ends on October 2nd[]

That's a monday, which means the last chance to win a Golden Godsword. However, will it END on that day = no ability to enter tickets anymore? Or will it not hand out prizes on the 3rd of october? Else it's completely useless for me to collect tickets and I will end it here. Some clarification would be nice. JorisCeoen (RS) 12:48, September 26, 2017 (UTC)

I've tweeted Mod Scorpio since she wrote the news post for it, so hopefully she knows. :) Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 10:38, September 27, 2017 (UTC)
She replied that you can still enter tickets on 2 October and that Balthazar will remain in-game until the update on 9 October. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 10:48, September 27, 2017 (UTC)
Wow, amazing! thank you very much :O JorisCeoen (RS) 12:57, September 27, 2017 (UTC)

2019 version?[]

There's a new Barrows equipment for thursday prizes... it's on display at Balthazar's right side. For some reason it almost looks green-yellowish, nothing like all the other barrows or warpriest equipments. JorisCeoen (RS) 07:10, September 2, 2019 (UTC)
