How long it lasts...[]
Umm.. I had a rune berserker and it definitly did not last based on time but rather the damage taken. So if you are looking for answers I figured I would atleast tell you, it is not based on time as far as I know. Hope I helped out some =)

- Ah, okay... if that's the case, do you (or anyone else for that matter) know how much damage the shield takes? Is it similar to the crystal shield (i.e. everytime you are hit for damage, 1 'charge' is removed - it doesn't matter if 5 or 50 damage is done, only 1 charge is removed either way - if 0 is hit, no charges removed) or is it a total of, for example, 5000 damage can be taken before it degrades?
- Personally, I'm still leaning towards time - as the [http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarticle.ws?article_id=663 Knowledge Base] says that "These shields will degrade over time in the same way that Barrows equipment does." Barrows equipment degrades over time in combat, not by damage done. Gaz Lloyd 19:40, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
