Soft Clay?

Why is "Soft clay" in

"{{#expr:{{:Exchange:Bones to bananas|View=price}} - {{:Exchange:Soft clay|View=price}} - {{:Exchange:Water rune|View=price}} * 2 - {{:Exchange:Earth rune|View=price}} * 2 - {{:Exchange:Nature rune|View=price}}}} coins profit without the use of any staff"

(and the other calculations in the same paragraph)? --Canifis 19:13, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

I believe that's only for when it is used as a tablet. You need one soft clay to make a tablet so that's factored in. ʞooɔ 19:16, May 17, 2011 (UTC)

Evolution of Combat

After the Evolution of Combat update, you do not appear to be able to use this spell without runes even if you have the Explorer Ring 4. -- 15:50, November 24, 2012 (UTC)

Bones to Bread

According to, this was mentioned:

The first major change in the skill took effect on 24 May 2001, effectively assimilating GoodMagic and EvilMagic into a single skill named 'Magic'. Additional spells were added and players were given the ability to use it during the first three rounds of a melee fight. Interestingly enough, one of the spells added after the 24 May update was 'Bones to Bread', which was later transformed into the current 'Bones to Bananas'.

However on the page for 24 May, the 2 game updates that happened on 2001 doesn't explicitly mention it. Does anyone have a pic of the "Bones to Bread" spell?
