I used to think this update would be overpowered as a bunch of idioits kept demanding Ice Barrage to be added to it now I think this update was a complete waste of time as the only good spell outside this necklace mages got was trollheim teleport when more than 1 damn spell was promissed. - Sadly true, it's far too limited to be useful for all but the most exact of uses. Since you need to have this necklace at the same time, and that necklace must be charged with that one spell of choice, of which you need 99 magic for, at which point the available spells are rather inferior, and all the while you must invest a large number of runes which may be far more than you would need from the spell. It's useless for combat since you cannot autocast and can only handle lower level spells, and inferior for other purposes due to a largely useless spell choice with too many limitations. Too bad. Costs of spells?[]
Should there be a section about the costs of each spell when cast through borrowed power? Personally I think this would be a great addition to the article and I could see myself using it in the future. I would do it myself but I'm kinda newb :(

Doesn't Seem as Bad As it Sounds?[]
The logic in the article doesn't follow. You don't need a polypore staff, you can use whatever endgame wand you like, and while it might not autocast you can still put it on your hotbar and spam it all you like. It's niche, but it does mean that if you're mostly a skiller/artisan you can still have Fire Wave on tap for if you get jumped by demons or something. No, it'll never be as powerful as someone on the Ancient Magic spellbook, but that's not what it's for - it's for people who want just a little combat in their utility spellbook. 50.0.38.175 06:24, September 26, 2017 (UTC)
