What does to IP mean?
I've seen many pro-cwers say that someone "IP's" when he/she took the flag faster than the others from the ground. What does that mean? Is it legal? How can you do it (if it's legal)?
IP used to determine a player's PID (Player ID), which sets the order in which the server processes events for each character. Basically, players with lower numbers for the last 2 parts of their IP address would gain an advantage over anyone who performed an action in the same relative window of time that they did. For example: If two people clicked a dropped flag at the same time, the one with the lower IP would get the flag.
However, the Runetek5 update changed the determination of PID, disposing of the usability of IP addresses to gain an advantage. Instead, PID is determined when you log in. The most viable (from a programmers perspective) method of determining PID is that you are given the lowest available PID when you log in (lower = faster), and you lose that PID (and free it up for someone else) as soon as you log out.
Flag holding
An IP keeps changing it to say that melee flag holders can't attack. They can attack; just with lower attack power. If you want to argue that, argue it here. Why can't they attack? JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 16:20, 23 November 2006 (UTC)

Battle Tactics
This paragraph is a little off base and repeats some stuff already said in the document. Are these official positions, or are they just names for people that do those things that somebody made up... if we're going to have them here, can someone please clarify.

Glitch
I seem to have found this glitch when i died on the river stones.

Skill capes
I know this seems unlikely, but I remember a loooong time ago I played against some guys who had on skill capes in Castle Wars instead of the default Saradomin or Zamorak capes. I realize this is highly unlikely, but just wondering if anyone else seen something like it? Shafez
They got in by Noclip glitching. It's when a player can walk through wall and such.
Grammar?

Barricades
Like the article says, I have noticed that some people randomly attack the barriers that will prevent the other team from making a quick escape from the fourth floor of our castle with the flag. When I first saw this, I simply thought that they wanted to go downstairs, but once the barrier was gone, they just went back to their spot on the far corner of the roof (really useful, huh?). It seems like they either want to sabotage the team or their macho pride makes them think that they shouldn't have to have barriers because they can 1-hit anybody. I'd just like to say that the first picture on the article of the outside of the lobby is awesome, with emphasis on the awe. I would like to know if it was taken with the Orb of Occulus, though I suspect it was.
