Isn't it possible to make charcoal by using coal on a fire or range? Book Em Dano 08:29, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've never tried it, but it would make no sense in real life. Coal is just a concentrated version of charcoal. Using on a fire or range wouldn't unconcentrate it; it would just burn. JalYt-Xil-Vimescarrot 09:26, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
The charcoal icon changed. Please update it, because I don't know how to. Claw B 19:08, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
I can confirm that there was a time (in RSC before what was then called RS2) when charcoal could be made by using coal on a fire (not sure whether it worked with a range too). If someone has an account on RSC servers, this could be tested, but the fact must be taken into account that the making of charcoal could have been removed after the time I made charcoal in RSC with my previous account. So if it doesn't work in current RSC, it doesn't falsify it.
It does falsify it. I could not find any "charcoal trees" or manage to make charcoal in RSC by using coal on a fire.
in 2007 the icon for charcoal had a redder tint to it. this means the icon has changed as the above post has said. can we add this to the trivia section please?18.104.22.168 08:43, April 30, 2013 (UTC)ult1m4t3 h4x
