Although charcoal does not use up the resources for timber chopped at the woodcutting resource, does the amount of timber chopped need to be equal or greater than the amount of timber 'burned'?

No. the timber plot is independant of the charcoal plot, meaning you can make as much charcoal as you like without collecting any timber at all.Agrith seth^talk 13:05, August 24, 2012 (UTC)
