Cooking Bonus?

Don't Chef's Hats give some kind of boost to Cooking, as well? Or is that white aprons I'm thinking of? --Andorin Kato 06:42, 25 March 2007 (UTC)

I belive it does although looking at the history of this page, many do not. I propose we do some research on the matter, perhaps to cook 50 Shrimps with and without the hat on to see if this makes any difference. Although this may still not solve the matter. I will be making a account soon, but until then, here is my IP. 14:27, 27 November 2007 (UTC)

It could prove difficult getting an accurate report that way... A player testing with a low cooking level will increase cooking levels as they cook more shrimp, therefore the second batch of 50 shrimp will have less burns, regardless of a chef's hat or not. A higher level cooking (no level increases) would probably not burn any shrimp in either case. 01:06, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

If it does or it doesn't it won't hurt to have it on just in case. Theunknown one 22:03, 10 June 2008 (UTC)

I have done a test with cooking 200 shrimp on new accounts. The first account (without the chefs hat), cooked 132 successfully, and the second (with the chefs hat) cooked 146 successfully. This means that the chefs hat probably improves the chances of successfully cooking food. Any help with finances in game after this experiment would be gratefully appreciated. I play in-game normally as onedudeuk. --Ben 16:25, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

Chef's hat to p-hat?

I saw a video that showed a way to turn a chef's hat into a party hat. I have no idea if it works or not. You take a chef hat and dye it red. Then you take the red hat and use shears on it. Then you have a red party hat. Do you think this accually works or is it a scam. It also said you needed a crafting level somewhere in the 50-60 range. I don't have that to check if it works. Could some one check for me to see if it is a scam? (Mathgirl90)

I don't need to check, it doesn't work. Full slayer helmet Evil1888 Talk A's L Dragon platebody 01:10, November 19, 2010 (UTC)
As for being a scam, chef hats are cheap, if they actually could do this, the most you could lose out on is ~100gp. Full slayer helmet Evil1888 Talk A's L Dragon platebody 01:12, November 19, 2010 (UTC)

Possible Typo?

This says near the bottom "cook in the range", should it say "cook on the range"? 04:57, March 12, 2015 (UTC)

Fixed / I've reworded that trivia bullet. IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 05:13, March 12, 2015 (UTC)
