This states that players who have visited runescape classic may equip it ,by that can a new account members log into runescape classic then may be able to equip the cape?
- Jagex said players who have visited RuneScape Classic, and that's all. No one knows yet specifically what they mean, but to me it sounds like any account that has played on Classic at any time.

Could it be that only those who have access to RSC now (i.e. players who were member and played RSC between august 2005 and January 2006), can obtain the cape. My memory is a bit vague, but I can remember playing on RS2 and RSC for some time, before it was discontinued for free players. --Jeroonk 17:53, May 3, 2011 (UTC)
I'm not sure Jagex even knows how this cape works. It started out that only people who can CURRENTLY log into Classic servers could get the cape, then a J Mod said they changed it and anyone who played in Classic could get the cape. This was then followed by a post by another J Mod saying that the Classic cape is only obtainable by people who could currently log into Classic servers. I just checked and it looks like that post was edited to remove the part about the Classic cape. Can anyone confirm how access to the cape is granted? Preferably if anyone that played in Classic, but cannot log in now. Greywolf1000x 15:00, May 4, 2011 (UTC)
I played runescape classic on my character Lavawolf in 2003. Tonight I logged in to check if I could get the cape and I got it, eventhough I cannot log in to Runescape Classic Client now because I haven't played during a trial period. So there's your confirmation Greywolf1000x I'm glad I could help Lavawolf 10:29, May 8, 2011 (UTC)
