This talk page is for discussing the Clue scroll (easy) page.

Merge

Just writing this so you can edit the page, I just did a clue scroll (easy) and i got a highwayman mask which is not stated in prizes Oppose - I do not see why we had the Clue scroll article containing all the information. Since they are different levels, they should have their own articles, and if they all have their own articles we can go into more detail and include an extensive list of monsters that drop the clue scrolls. Oppose - As per the granularity policy, plus what TyA said.

Oppose - The current clue scroll article is very crowded and doesn't go into much detail on the individual levels. The level 3 one looks the worst at the moment, as practically every word is a link! Kuma3 04:51, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

Comment - I added the Template:Don't wikify tag at the (level 3) page. JOEYTJE50TALKpull my finger 11:58, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, hopefully it won't look like the old article. ~Kuma talk contribs 12:11, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - Per all of the above. TyA took the words right out of my... fingers. (:

Comment - Who decided what a level 1, 2, or 3 clue scroll is anyway? Full slayer helmet Evil1888 Talk A's L Dragon platebody 05:02, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

Probably Jagex.... When you complete a Treasure Trail it shows up as either a "Easy", "Medium", "Hard", or "Elite" Treasure Trail on your Adventurers Log. Sooo... We could probably rename it Clue scroll (Easy), Clue scroll (Medium) etc...? Or... was that not quite what you meant? :x User:TyA/sig 05:13, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

Comment - I just thought that things like the drop list and rewards could be merged and have all of them for all the different levels on Clue scroll.

Oppose - They all might be Clue scrolls but they are dropped by different monsters and have different stuff about them. SardominSign Me! 20:54, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - The different levels of clue scrolls are dropped by different monsters, they also give significantly different rewards (with some minor overlap), and they have entirley different steps, with different levels of difficulty. Each levels also has plenty of information for an article of its own, and putting all four levels on a single page makes it difficult to find relevant information for a specific clue. You can only have one clue at a time, hence most people will be looking for only information about a spcific level of clue. Air rune Tollerach hates SoF Fire rune 22:09, August 22, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - Too much information on one page, should be kept separate (Just like farming and all of its different kinds of seeds) DrSkitzo 00:49, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Oppose - Per TyA, BicycleCat. Also, if you look at Special:LongPages, you will see that clue scroll(level 3) is by far the biggest page on the wiki, clue scroll(level 4) is #10 and Clue scroll(level 2)/drop list is the #16 biggest page. If that's merged into one article, it will be an ENORMOUS article. As {{Too big}} states that pages longer than 32KB should be split or rewritten, it should definetely not merged! That's my fault actually, when copying the tables from the list of clue dropping monsters, Chrome decided to copy the HTML code for the tables, which takes up waaaaay more space than it should. If anyone can copy it properly, it'd help as it would reduce the size down a bit. I'll remove the merge notice later, since it seems no one supports it. ~Kuma talk contribs 12:11, August 23, 2010 (UTC)
Fixed it. (with some help from User:Psycho Robot) User:TyA/sig 21:39, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Add prices/rarity info

Why aren't the clue scroll rewards listed in a similar fashion to monster drops and triskelion loot? Displaying each items' quantity and price is mighty useful. --XAleXOwnZX 22:07, September 5, 2015 (UTC)
