This talk page is for discussing the Combat triangle page.

rangers and attack range[]

Rangers also have an attack range advantage with most weapons. They have a weapons designed for long ranged combat (longbow) and they have a longrange attack option. Put that in there as well. --Wiiwantxbox 01:47, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

4 more sections of this triangle[]

What many people do not understand, and mistaken for a "broken" combat triangle are that their are 4 more places, 1 between all the others which is 3, and then 1 in the middle of the triangle which is when your level 99 of every combat stat. Lava runeJoshuaVincentTalk Contrib

Equations confirmed[]

I have just plugged my own stats into the Melee equation and can confirm that the equations written on the Dwarven manuscript are used to calculate combat level.

Bent Triangle[]

To remove all bentness (Im not sure thats a word) from the triangle, all that needs be done is put negative melee stats on dragonhide; I reckon roughly -5 in green dhide, -10 in blue, -15 in red, -20 in black. That'll teach meleers to steal our armour. Until changes are made, I reckomend pulling out a melee weapon yourself. Many mages end up training Attack in the first place anyway with all the good staves needing high requirements (Staff of Light anyone?). --Its the EndOfTheWorld! About the combat triangle picture, I think it would be better to use a picture of a forgotten mage to maintain balance with the other two. Also, Lexicus Runewright uses both melee and magic attacks. Atheist723 13:10, January 31, 2011 (UTC)
