This was an attempt to make a collection of recent, up-to-date knowledge about the RuneScape multiverse. Other pages often included information that was never officially stated as outdated, but Jagex has changed their stance on the nature of the runescape universe so often that quite a few contradictions occured. I'd like to start from this base of current knowledge (based on Runefest 2017) to update the pages about the runescape universe with information that we are 100% certain only. --Galian prist (talk) 22:01, September 23, 2017 (UTC)

You know what's funny

How Jagex doesn't seem to realize the differences between the words "world", "plane", "universe", "dimension", "realm", and "planet". It's obvious that most of the various "worlds" are actually just planets floating around in space, NOT separate planes of existence. For example, Armadyl mentions Kethsi being near his home planet of Abbinah. They're PLANETS, not universes. (And yes, I know this probably isn't the best place to rant about this, and I apologize for that, but I still couldn't think of a better place to.) NeutralinoTalk? This is a pale wisp. 05:07, September 25, 2017 (UTC)

Elemental and Catalytic Planes Problems

There seems to be a lot of incorrect and dubious information here regarding the Elemental and Catalytic Planes sections. A lot of the info seems to be speculation rather than official lore, as no sources are provided for a lot of it, and some official lore even outright contradicts the info here. The problems start at the creator column in the Elemental Planes. Zaros's Memoriam Crystals specifically say that each Elemental Plane world was made by one elder god, not combinations of elder gods. And while the element alignments column makes sense, I can't remember there ever being an official confirmation for any of these, and no sources are given for any of them either. Furthermore, although Kethsi is listed as a Catalytic Plane here, Armadyl has said that Kethsi is directly beside Abbinah, which we know is an Elemental Plane, which leads me to my next problem: Are the Catalytic Planes even a canonical classification separate from the Elemental Planes to begin with? Zaros's Memoriam Crystals seem to suggest that the universe is divided into 3 categories rather than 4: lower, elemental, and higher. The existence of a 4th category doesn't necessarily have any problems lore-wise, and it's possible I'm just unaware of some recent content that mentions it, but I'd like to see an actual source for this. The worlds currently listed under Catalytic Planes seem more appropriately classified as other Elemental Planes or Balanced Realms (Zaros said there were more than one, with Gielinor just being the final). When Galian prist created the page, they didn't source, but everything on this page came from a RuneFest lore reveal in I believe 2017. I can't find a link to the video on YouTube, unfortunately.Elf of Seren (talk) 10:38, August 19, 2018 (UTC)
