there are some rumors that these can make staves from combo runes, does anybody know either way if this is true?

I have a Crystal of Power in my house and am going to upload an animation of it soon. I know for sure that it is false, as it clearly states in the Knowledge Base that it only works for elemental staves, and that it is also not an option on my own Crystal of Power.
