Missing head[]
The shield char in the pic is missing a head...--Agamemnus 18:39, July 10, 2010 (UTC)
I removed the rapid degradation information[]
I removed it because you can now recharge it at any point in its life. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.194.181.1 (talk) on 14:38, May 27, 2011.
Degrading Changes[]
Changing "Damage" to "Hits"
Degrading now goes by hit count, not damage.
2500 hits per charge. 124.40.58.153 13:05, October 5, 2013 (UTC)
Conflicting infomation[]
The Cystal bow states that a recharge before it completely degrades will not count towards reducing the cost in the future, whereas a recharge for the shield does. To quote,
"Ilfeen is also able to re-enchant partially degraded crystal equipment, at a proportion of the cost. For example, a Crystal shield in '9/10' condition can be recharged back to full condition for 15,000 coins if the minimum recharge cost has already been reached. A recharge this way will also count towards reducing the cost for future re-enchantments." - Crystal Shield

Does it just work differently? I'd assume it doesn't.
