Alright, now that all the information and pictures have been gathered and organized out... Do these gloves require certain defence levels corresponding to the type of metal they appear to be? Could a member who has done the Recipe for Disaster quest check these articles out and expand them and make sure they are accurate? - I could wear Barrows armour before the quest came out, so I'm afraid I can't help. But I think I should point out...there is no proof anywhere that these gloves are made of metal. It doesn't really matter, but... Vimescarrot 07:13, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
I have 69 defence and I can wear the highest-level gloves. And shouldn't we change all their names to gloves (bronze), gloves (iron)... ... gloves (barrows) or something like that, because they're only called "gloves" in the game? — Ali Irontoad (Talk) (Contributions) 01:54, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
there is currently a glitch in the template box at the bottom of this page, if you click on barrows glove it directs you to the emote "yes" I checked the code and I can't see why this is. That's very odd. I don't see the same thing happening. Perhaps it was a temporary glitch, or maybe someone decided to change it as a joke and it got changed back. I don't see anything in the history to suggest the latter, though. I'm a regular user and I approve this message. Someone set barrows=yes to indicate that there are barrows gloves, but the barrows parameter is supposed to contain the name of the page about the gloves. half mage bonus stats?[]
I was wondering, does anybody have any idea why these gloves have magic bonusses half that of all the others (except summoning, which I can understand)?? I'm puzzled, I don't understand, and it looks a bit like underpowering mage, because... why else would it be half? Leon Art 09:52, April 4, 2011 (UTC)
Conflicting information[]
There is currently currently conflicting information regarding the armor and lifepoint bonuses on the table provided on this page and the actual stats listed on each gloves' respective page.
