DDS Max

I do believe dragon dagger specials can max much higher than 50, there is a video on youtube of players hitting over 80 with the dagger. These players had 99 str and obvious strength bonus equipment. Is it possible for someone to set up a link to this video or one like it? I cannot, because of various reasons...--Darklord osk 20:48, 25 July 2008 (UTC)

This video shows a 49-38 DDS spec. It clearly shows that DDS can hit over 50

here is the link-> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Wdrkp_qJFA A UFO1 14:18, 29 September 2008 (UTC)

Read the page carefully, it says DDS can hit "50-50", not "50" in "perfect" conditions, not sure how hard it is to come by those conditions.

how much is a drag p++

60k and higher, but you should ask this on a forum instead. Cashman286 20:13, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

Why on earth do they hold the stinkin' thing backwards??!?!?!? Doom Box 00:44, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

It's the way the dagger is designed. The dragon dagger looks like a athame-type dagger to me. Or maybe it's a reversed-edge dagger?
I did some research on it and found out this. Daggers from bronze - rune are considered double-edge daggers. They have bladed edges on both sides of the blade. These kinds of daggers are usually held with the blade facing away from the user. The dragon dagger is a single-bladed dagger. It only has one side with a blade. These types of daggers are usually held with the blade facing the body, as single-bladed daggers are more prone to stabbing. This would also explain the wierd slashing action of the dragon dagger. Numbers separator

Contrary to what I believed before, a comma should be used as a thousands separator, as specified in the style guide, section 9. Leevclarke 20:29, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Poison

When u poison someone and the poison damages them do u get xp?...SlayerThrasher6920 Strength 22:30, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

Sadly, no, you do not get Experience for poisoning a creature or player. Only Red splats count towards xp. Babyvegeta93 13:50, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

Poison

Is there any way to rid the poison off of the blade so you can 'upgrade' the poison? Armadyl godswordZyxeionHelm of neitiznot (charged)(talk) 18:33, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

REAL DDS MAX

Stop counting Castlewars bracelet hits as max hits, dds max is 44 or without pvp armors 43. Fact. Also 54 with claws? you need somebody who knows maxes to write this for 54 to be possible it would need to be in castlewars and would be 0 0 0 54 the hit of 40+ (pvp) or 50+ (cw) has to be alone, u cannot see 54 27 27 15 or whatever that clueless person said. yes i have owned claws do not even say that —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Matt4045 (talk).

Ok...calm down, what are you trying to say? That dragon claws hit higher or DDS? Because the article said that DDS hits higher.Santa hat Powers38 おはようヾ(´・ω・`) 04:24, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

He's trying to say that all the reference to Castle Wars as the max hit on most of the weapon pages on this wiki are totally unnecessary and circumstantial. "Oh! If you're playing this certain mini-game wielding a certain item you can hit X!" That's like saying a toaster is a mighty weapon, but only if your opponent is standing in a bathtub! Castle Wars max hits are not the weapons normal max hits. 65.27.60.243 18:53, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and whenever trying to prove a point about something in a videogame, (in this case, relating to Dragon Claws) one must often contend with the plethora of fan boys supporting their beloved pixels. This usually amounts being called a "noob", and they immediately assume that you do not own the item in question, nor are able to afford it. (sarcasm) How could U own _____ and *not* think it be TOTALLY PRO?!!!1 U must B a poor n00b! LULZ (/sarcasm) 65.27.60.243 19:12, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Dragon dagger (p++) infobar

I have removed the dragon dagger (p++) infobar from the page as it is redundant - the only difference between the dagger (no poison), (p), (p+) and (p++) is their price in the Grand Exchange - this is handily provided futher down the page. I moved the images further down the page to the poisoned versions section to prevent them being deleted. Weird gloop @Gaz#7521 18:45, 9 June 2009 (UTC)

Max hit

Just wondering, why are the max hits still being based off use of the Castle wars brace? Why not the Ferocious ring since it applies to individual special attack hits. Since the castlewars brace provides 20% damage against the flag bearer, the difference between being able to use that and the Black mask effect would have to be enough that 5% damage > 40 damage. 470x1.2 ~ the 560 max stated here, but 470*1.15+40 is about 580, so unless the 10% of opponents strength (Turmoil against the strongest monster in Kuradal's dungeon is low enough that it loses a full 20 damage from the difference (that would mean that something like the Steel dragon has a strength level of zero or something) then the highest max hits are actually obtainable in Kuradal's dungeon until the max hits are exceeding 80. 124.191.165.101 12:52, September 6, 2010 (UTC)
