Is the drop rate for elite armor different after the quest? Coolcoder9t 08:56, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Yes. In fact, after the first 3 kills, which give you one piece each, I couldn't get any in over 200 kills. Which means I can't complete the quest, since being the noob that I am, I dropped the set from wardrobe.
Do they still drop the elite black armour after the quest? Lakor 19:27, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, I'm not entirely sure, but I think they do. Babyvegeta93 19:30, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure they don't. I'm gonna have to wait for the platebody price to go high enough for people to sell before i can continue... >.< Unumbium 19:33, 27 November 2008 (UTC)
<ummm do u guys know that they r north of godwars with trolls and are holding sara swords there? Zaros lord 00:31, 28 November 2008 (UTC)zaros_lord
"This Week's Updates" on the Forums confirms that the knights will drop more armour, but "it will be an arduous task."(S 4872 01:13, 29 November 2008 (UTC))
- 344 kills, no elite pieces. They do have semi-decent drops, however.
So far, I've found that Black Salamanders are the easiest way to deal with these guys. They are pretty weak over all and seem to miss alot. Also did Range/D Hally from inside the Jail Cells. This method requires no food but is slow. Anyone else have any interesting tactics for these guys? Ixindor 16:12, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
I know for a fact veracs is not reccomended. Neither is up front battle because they may have bad accurcacy but they hit hard. Sometimes they get lucky and hit 3 15-18's in a row. I found ranging them with bronze knives work really good. Their prayer is based on damage. The article says at 20 damage but they always change at 15+ for me. I also found if I hit a 14, then a 0, then change prayer. Later I found that 0's count as 1 damage as far as prayer is concerned. Like you can hit a 0, 0, 12, 0 and it'll change, or 0,14, and it'll change, etc. So using bronze knives until their prayer runs out, you can then switch to a godsword or dragon claws to finish them quickly.--Kodeman76 17:33, 5 December 2008 (UTC)
there is few safe spot, just use darts/knives then melee them (away from safe spot) they are pretty easy to kill... wear elite at all time188.8.131.52 13:16, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
okay, after killing them more often, once you've gained decent combat stats (which you need to do the quests before this one, like dream mentor, etc, then it's best to range with a crossbow (I used broad, but it's your choice) and Dragon Halberd. Their defence, when ranging/halberding them seems really low compared to that of using veracs up close. Since I can attack them without waiting 30 seconds for their prayer to leave, and then hit maybe 10 max with a dart, I'm able to hit 27+ with either weapon instantly. Best place to do this at, is in the jail cells.
5 second intervals
Black Knife:15max damage then 2-3 0's when prayer is activated.|10 more 0's|10 more 0's|
Cbow/hally:27 max damage switch to crossbow, 25 damage.........|27 hally|...27 cbow,25hally|
By the time the prayer runs out with knives, I've already accumulated over 100 damage against the knight assuming I get max hits. Also, I found wearing full void is very useful. Because then I can easily switch the helm/weapon so not only can I kill the knights fast, I get a damage and accuracy boost for each style.--Kodeman76 15:31, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

Origins o' glorious, holy swords o' icyenes?
Makes wonder of it, eh? Eh? That how has Kinshra gotten their hands unto such holy swords of icyene.. Theories be reveral, such as..
Zilyana, why yes, thinking that she is only icyene seen alive at north, in GWD, more exactly, would't be unfitting if there were more than just she, those that perhaps died there, too, wichfore swords would have stolen, or maybe hidden by icyenes themselves, or simply lost during the wars, but main thing is that Kinshra found their latest location - yet, wouldn't bet for it complitely, as none of evidence for such, yet again, are nowhere.
Another theory, bit far taken, yet logical, perhaps? Ally between Kinshra & Drakans. How's it feel about, then? Now surely during GW Drakan had permission from Zamorak himself to take over Hallowvale, wich succeeded. Now all those icyenes, whatever happened, killed or turned into vampire forms, such as vyrewatches, but aye, to the point, the swords. Holy as they seem, would doubt seeing any unholy creature such as vampire holding one, at all. So sure it would be fitting if Drakan later on got allies with Kinshra, wich claimed to turn Zamorakians after rivals with Temple Knights, White knights, and traded the not-so-used swords from dusting cellar, to them. What would Kinshra then give to Drakan in change, or did, didn't, what? Well that be unknown, of course, yet, the main point of this theory is clear, a trade between Drakans & Kinshra, with these holy blades of icyenes.
Side theory for second theory(above) i do surely have, too. How did those swords gotten so far from Hallowvale(modern Meiyerditch), then? Perhaps some weaklings fleed away, managing to escape then, maybe..
Fascinating wander with such wonder, most certainly - i say! Care none of ye fool whom thinks otherwise, be with it, buh!
