Explanation?[]

The formula needs an explanation. Glad there's an example of the abyssal demon. Mamabear47 (talk) 12:20, February 8, 2016 (UTC)

What? The formula is straight forward. MolMan 21:44, February 8, 2016 (UTC)
It is only straight forward if you assume everyone remembers that math. For me it took reversing the math in the abyssal example to figure out that the decimal is a percent of the base combat exp and I'm assuming the numbers after the comma is a exp cap. No idea what the min or brackets are about. It would be much clearer to just say 6% with a cap of 300 (assuming my assumption that the extra numbers is in fact a cap)  Summoning-icon Sci (talk) Enhanced Excalibur 15:37, February 18, 2016 (UTC)

Gizmo effect on aug equip xp gain[]

I believe that 2H weaps, armour top, and bottoms are able to hold 2 gizmos each. Does the quantity of gizmos affect the equip xp gain rate? Example, if I add 2 gizmos to a 2H weap, does it gain xp twice as fast than if I had added only one gizmo? I hope I framed this question succintly... 72.197.253.234 03:29, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Augmented item xp gain depends only on combat xp and the type of piece it is, as explained in the article. Some perks enhance the damage a weapon does, which slightly increase the speed an item can level, but only because they result in faster kills. Gizmos are otherwise irrelevent and unnecessary. --User:Saftzie/Signature 05:12, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Fishing[]

Fishing item xp seems to be about 12% of fishing xp. I need better data for better numbers, but that's the ballpark. --User:Saftzie/Signature 07:14, March 15, 2016 (UTC)

Equipment XP cap[]

Would be somewhat informative to add that there is currently an Equipment XP cap of 1,000,000. Not possible to exceed it. Here is a pic http://imgur.com/89MrUYY -207.172.184.157 20:20, March 22, 2016 (UTC)

Someone actually did that? lol
Sure I'll add it. MolMan 20:22, March 22, 2016 (UTC)
I'm 200m invention, and those 2 perks have noticeable impact on my fishing xp rates, so I figure might as well see how high I can get to. lol --207.172.184.157 20:27, March 22, 2016 (UTC)
Funny nonetheless. I've added the cap as a trivia point. MolMan 20:29, March 22, 2016 (UTC)

Summoning familiars[]

Does damage dealt by offensive familiars, such as steel titans, detract from my equipment's experience since I wasn't the one who dealt that damage? (The answer seems to be yes.) NeutralinoTalk? This is a pale wisp. 03:16, July 2, 2016 (UTC)

I wouldn't say it detracts, but it doesn't count. --User:Saftzie/Signature 03:28, July 2, 2016 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I meant. I stopped attacking and let my titan attack the monster, but the experience in the tooltip didn't change a bit. NeutralinoTalk? This is a pale wisp. 04:32, July 2, 2016 (UTC)

Cost per XP?[]

Since you now do not consume a siphon after the item has reached level 16 should there be a cost associated with the XP for levels 16 to 20? --Dragon Bard (talk) 01:35, September 19, 2017 (UTC)

Exact formula[]

At least for tool XP the formula isn't exact. There seems to be at least 4 hidden digits rather than 3. I found out that logging out truncates your item XP, and using this information concluded that Seren stones yield 35.01+1/95 or more experience, and strictly less than 35.01+1/94. The only number with 4 decimals that fits this data is 35.0106. This is interestingly exactly the number that the formula would yield without rounding. The current formula yields 35.01. (I also compared this to the data I gathered with the 50% bonus during a DXPW, and there's probably some rounding going around with the DXPW formula because DXPW data seems to suggest that the XP should be at least 35.0108 which is too high. I'm not 100% sure of this DXPW data since that's when I made the discovery of XP truncating when logging out which kind of messes up my notes.) Thingummywut (talk) 14:30, October 8, 2017 (UTC)
