Esteem points -> siphoning chance?

I'm being told that the esteem rank gives you a better chance to siphon? Can anyone verify this? Thanks.

They do not increase the chance to siphon, they are merely cosmetic. This has been stated my Mod Eastly in the forums. Ethaksus 20:49, May 1, 2012 (UTC)

Images?

Maybe we could get a gallery of what each esteem rank looks like on a cape and hood together. Partin 22:28, May 8, 2012 (UTC)

It's the same symbol on each piece of clothing, so I think that just showing the symbols will suffice, and people can easily imagine what it looks like on the cape. Maybe just one picture of each piece of clothing to show where the symbol goes. ^T_H^A_R^K_O^N 18:56, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

It feels like something is missing, however; it would be more visually appealing to the reader to see the symbols actually on the cape, rather than what anyone can already see via the shop window.
