This talk page is for discussing the Eye of newt page.

"In recent times, this kind of witchcraft is archetypal, and can hardly be taken seriously[3]." So what? What relevance does this have to the game itself? This isn't even historical trivia; it's commentary, and unnecessary - rather like saying water is wet. --Carlobrand 16:39, November 7, 2009 (UTC)

"Many magic and herblore stores"?? There are no eyes at varrock magic, there are no eyes at the herb shop near the bank in Nardah. Which makes me wonder which of the stores do carry eye of newt, and which one is closest to a bank? Would be good info for the wiki.

Not that many shops indeed... as far as I remember, the herblore shop in Taverly and the Magic shop in Port Sarim (I'm not sure about this one) sell some. Second-abyssal-whipPatheticcockroachGuthan's platebody(Talk) 15:15, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
Only store I've ever used for it was the Port Sarim magic store. It's pretty close to Draynor Bank, and even closer if you use an Amulet of Glory for the trip back. Grim reaper hood Ben RyfosTalk 15:18, 31 January 2008 (UTC)
The Entrana store and the Gu'Tanoth stores stock eyes of newt. Ape atoll magic stall stocks eye of gnome.

I believe I caused the price spike from Jan to March 2011 because I was planning for 94 herblore and started buying out all the eye of newts. Initially they were 7 coins or so then 20 coins by which I stopped because they were not buying anymore. I had 257k eye of newts with me. i was going for 300k+ but they wouldn't buy. Anyways I did not expect the bonus xp weekend by which saved me a lot of eye of newts. I still have around 70k eyes left and that would bring me to around 97 herb if I decide to train herblore again. Which I don't think I will. It's a nightmare mixing potions till 92 already. Fizzyliquid 08:15, April 22, 2011 (UTC)
