On the Fremennik God

Hello, Thorvald here. I am fully aware that the information I added on the Fremennik God is "unsourced/no proof", as "Ansela jonla" rudely removed without consulting me first. However, this interview with Mod Osborne did indeed take place, and time shall prove me right. I will respectfully ask that my contribution be left the hell alone by overzealous (and potentially jealous?) users.  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by MH1Dumah (talk).

You were using original research, which is really a big no no here. Also, please do not go around making accusations like that. She was not rude in removing unsourced statements. If you can provide a source then we will include it but it would have to be rewritten Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 22:08, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
I admire your passion! But you should really do have a reference that can be checked, as proof is everything. Even if there is proof people discuss about how to interpret it. My suggestion: tape it. Ask for permission too. I also agree with Kane, we should keep it civil :3 . . . Yours, This user admires the Void Knights. Who aim to maintain Gielinor's Equilibrium. Unfortunately, there is no source. I was in full Jack of Blades cosplay at the time and I didn't have any physical space for a Camera etc. Here's the thing, source or not, this interview DID take place. When the Fremennik God is finally released, and turns out to be V----- (they'll probably retconn that name and give him a universal one to avoid confusion), and linked to the Dragonkin, and released in a Dragonkin quest, I'll be directing EVERYONE who shows interest to the contributions for the Fremennik Gods page on the 22/09/13 so they can see that I knew first, and tried to share it with the world. I alone gave enough of a damn to get this information. I was sitting on the information because I wasn't sure how to introduce it to the RS community. I chose the Runescape wiki and you people want to bury my message because it doesn't follow your precious guidelines? Is this how you repay people who try to help?
Your word is as good as anyone elses'. I don't see why you should be above the rest. Our views are all equal, and we have to adhere to RS:CITE too. Ozank Cx 22:26, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
Okay, watch your attitude. We did not try and bury your information as you claimed. Nor are we saying that the interview did not take place, just that it is unsourced and therefore cannot be used. You are more than welcome to post it here, on the talk page, but the main page should be kept for confirmed facts that can be properly sourced Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 22:28, September 22, 2014 (UTC)
Hide my contribution on some measly talk page that nobody ever looks at? I don't think so. I'll leave it for time to prove me right ok? And of course I'll direct people to those contribs on the day it happens =)
Yeah, it's quite unfortunate to not have proof. But it's really something you need here. There's enough disagreement about what to do with certain statements, just think about the disagreements if there isn't any proof to back things up. Regardless, I believe you. But frankly, even without that interview, I can only think of V---- based on the info he gave us in a livestream, I forgot which one though (the Fremennik god, we saw in a cutscene but never met in person, was native/born-on Gielinor and a human). And... since we're discussing what might happen... I think they might keep the V----- thing as it is (random and different for people), and just say that our character couldn't really make out the name that well and constructed the name. It's a common real-world thing anyway. If/when this i's confirmed to be true you can point me to this page, I will acknowledge that you said it before, but because there's no proof, we cannot accept it. It's not about not being grateful, it's about the lack of necessary evidence. I've seen plenty of 'true' things being removed because the source/evidence wasn't saved properly/got lost (like when the forums remove a thread. That's a shame, but it happens. . . . Nah, you've gone and done it now. I don't really want to be involved with this Wiki anymore. Too many bloated egos and repression of information. I'll keep my discoveries to those who deserve them from now on.
By the way, here's a little something I dug up. Not proof that a conversation took place but I was indeed there. Also have a gander at this: http://rsthemeplay.wikia.com/wiki/The_Fremennik_God
