  • It's rubbish xp
  • The rewards are pants
  • It's buggy (Hazelmere wants an error does he?)
  • the directions are WAY too vague at times (somewhere on Karamja? Oh thanks)
  • ...or really inconvenient (why would anyone trek all the way to the top of Trollweiss mountain to complete a delivery past level 124 ice trolls)
  • The food delivery doesn't have any options attached, and takes way too long to earn a food parcel.

So, I'm not doing it any more - feel free to add any other information editors! --Eucarya 15:55, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

It may be rubbish xp, however you can make a fine living off of selling scarves and goggles (according to repeated trials, its about 1:40 for goggles or scarves). --Lidogg747 05:15, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

Doesn't exist

I'm pretending this update doesn't exist. :| Shadowdancer 16:26, 7 August 2006 (UTC)

Seed Pods?

A little birdy tells me that teleblock does not affect the seed pods! I'll test this later, but if this is the case, then gnome restaurant may actually be worth doing for these. --Eucarya 09:08, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

If that is the case I bet it's not permanent. Vimescarrot 09:21, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
My little birdy was spreading false rumours! Seed pods are affected by teleblock. *Sigh*--Eucarya 10:49, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
I've actually been making good money off it =], and I also find that Capt. Daerkin generally gives more tips of gnome goggles and scarves that Ninto. Could someone help prove this? Oh and I just go for a hard elivery, and if its not 1 of the 2 captains, I reject, wait 5 min, repeat =] Thieving-iconMomento Mori Real PainNot Champagne
I can say that I've received many more scarves from daerkin than ninto. (Maniac Poke)
Agreed; the best thing Ninto gave me was anest w/ a rannarr, but Daerkin kave me 2 scarfs (when they were 1m each) and 3 goggles. -- sig1.png Spam me w/ lolcatsPottery statuette detail Is <insert name here> awesome? I don't know, let me check... 15:59, January 2, 2010 (UTC)
Uhhh, using the method in The Giant Dwarf quest, the part for giving ores to your mining company, I've obtained 3 gnome scarves.... in a row. Though I'm still checking out the statistics, and it only works so far if I have a full reward token and talk to Gianne again =/ Roman jerk 15:03, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
You don't need a full reward token get any scarves or goggles. I've gotten a pair goggles with only 3 points on my reward token. I've also found that you can use the meals from the reward token for your own deliveries. Greyhead 16:58, 20 April 2007 (UTC)

Glitch

The possible glitch mentioned at the bottom of the article may not be accurate. I was able to do this and i can only get 2 food items. Maybe it was a hidden update or possible just a glitch.--Dark shark31 10:57, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, true. I could do it with only 2 pieces to order. Only ever got 1 pair of goggles, done about 50 deliveries. And since this game gives out so many emeralds, I just keep at it! 86.138.70.245 19:14, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I assure you, it's very accurate. And I don't know what you mean, Dark shark, when you said you could only get two food items? The trick's got nothing to do with how many food items you get. It just completely eliminates the five-minute wait that occurs whenever you refuse a delivery. You gotta keep the token full to make use of the trick, so don't use the token. I can get around 20 orders from either Daerkin or Ninto with the trick in one hour. Since the tips are random, you may or may not get a scarf from those orders. Sometimes I get no scarves, but once I got 2 scarves and a pair of goggles in an hour.

And to increase your chances of getting a scarf, you should do Daerkin's and Ninto's orders quickly. I can get to them in under a minute.

And yes, it was me who added it to the article. =p  Tien  22:26, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

Small spelling error

There was a small spelling error in the easy task section

Before: coach= walks aroung thr gnome ball field

After: coach= walks around the gnome ball field  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lyonidis (talk).

Thanks for the correction.   az talk   13:57, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

the glitch

I've just found out that it was impossible to do the "trick" to choose our order... if anyone find a way to, i'm interested :p (btw, it's possible to get hazelmere after WGS, the gnome will say it's an old order and it's just a mistake (she said it's an old order enregistred that was given again by mistake or something)

Unfortunately, the trick doesn't work anymore. It used to be my main source of income too; I still remember the time when I got three scarves in one hour. Ah, the good old days...  Tien  00:43, October 12, 2009 (UTC)

Points

I'm getting 5 points for a fast delivery (not sure but it seems to be those done in the first 2 minutes), as apposed to the 3 points for ones that take longer. Cloud Shaper 09:05, 20 January 2009 (UTC)

Gnome Goggles

My first reward was the goggles. Man am I lucky? But, now it'll take me 500 deliveries before i stop getting opals and gnomeballs.

Lol, congrats Big smile Unicorn horn dust Evil Yanks talk 05:30, December 13, 2009 (UTC)

Safe?

I think this minigame is Dangerous because you can take damage during delivery. (Which I think probably usual in Hard tasks) --Willwill 15:50, January 2, 2010 (UTC)

Then why [http://www.runescape.com/kbase/guid/treasure_trails Treasure Trails] is Dangerous? --Willwill 03:08, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
Just mainly level threes due to you having to trek in the wild Twig Talk 772kZGs.png 03:05, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
What about walking pass aggressive trolls? I found it's very hard. --Willwill 03:08, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
Well yea. Kay ill fix it Twig Talk 772kZGs.png 03:10, January 3, 2010 (UTC)
Wait it is safe due to your not getting damage making them and there is a note beside it Twig Talk 772kZGs.png 03:12, January 3, 2010 (UTC)

Mint Cake

Whats the big deal with these things? seems everyone wants them but they are worth like 20K... all they do is restore your run enery 1 time. Is it because of how rare they are? but the price has nothing to show for this... if someone could clear this up for me i would be a whole lot happier. Thanks and Happy New Year!!! This little bugger used to be worth 7m (each) before the January 1st 2010 update. People didn't know what it was for, or where it came from, so they bought it and tried it! Hense the hefty cost. After the update - everyone knew. Gnome scarfs went up because of that. They realised the rarity and started to buy them!

Goutweed

The rewards say that goutweed is a reward; is it true, because I never got one; do you need Eadgar's Ruse? Please clear this up. sig1.png Spam me w/ lolcatsPottery statuette detail Is <insert name here> awesome? I don't know, let me check... 03:00, January 5, 2010 (UTC)

They most definitely do give Goutweed as a reward. Cook Me Plox 00:23, January 6, 2010 (UTC)

King Narnode as a Hard Order

Okay seriously, whoever is deleting this, please stop. I have had to put it in 3 times over, and I've gotten him as a hard order twice. Just because you may not have gotten him does not mean it's untrue. So please do me and everyone a favor and STOP DELETING KING NARNODE SHAREEN AS A HARD ORDER! Loe151 (talk) forgot to sign this comment on 11:11, January 24, 2010.

I have checked the other 3 main fansites ([1][2][3]) and none of them mention him as a hard task, only easy. I will trust you that it does exist since you have kept on talking about it which vandals don't normally do. It also can't result in any anyone dying in-game. It is possible that when they tweaked around with the grand tree seed pods and mint cakes a week ago they might have also added him to the hard list. Unicorn horn dust Evil Yanks talk 06:59, February 5, 2010 (UTC)
I have played the minigame an unbelievable amount of times, and did both deliveries, and know for a FACT that Shareen is an easy order, Bolren is the hard one. sig1.png Spam me w/ lolcatsPottery statuette detail Is <insert name here> awesome? I got King Narnode as a hard order today.

Mapbuilding nomination

I've nominated this project for mapbuilding because I feel like its currently very lacking. There's no maps for the locations of any of the orders and the one map we do have is unclear and refers to an obsolete "trading zone". It may have been important before personalised shops (when world hoppers bought everything useful down to 0 stock), but now with the grand exchange and everything else, this type of information is no longer relevant. And even if it were relevant, it doesn't need to be indicated on the map because its right in front of the banks. That's not exactly hard to describe with words. kitty.pngPsycho Robot talkSilver bar 18:40, August 10, 2010 (UTC)

Grammatical error

If you request a hard task and then refuse, the final response from Gianne Jnr contains a grammatical error. Her response says "...find you a something." The 'a' is unnecessary. I have reported today. Blue partyhatLaNdMaStEr3talk 00:26, April 3, 2016 (UTC)

Quest req?

Can you still be assigned an NPC which you do not have access to like if you didn't do the quest to reach him/her?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 204.197.176.75 (talk) on 04:23, 5 March 2018.

Yes, the quest to reach a certain NPC is indeed required. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 10:35, March 5, 2018 (UTC)
