Just wondering does the wilderness affect the seed pods in any way. 126.96.36.199 02:09, 6 August 2007 (UTC)

One teleport per pod. But you get more than 1 pod at a time from the game. Not sure exactly what the range is. I just got 188.8.131.52.87 09:03, January 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, the 'range' was ALWAYS 5. It's been updated though, and it's ALWAYS 9~10 now. ArnoudX 14:09, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
Xp-gains since update
I've taken the freedom to confirm that you will still gain 100xp when launching the pod, despite the incredibly large gainrate-raise. You'll gain the pods about 200 times as fast at the moment, which would normally have resulted in a drop to 1xp each or something. It hasn't. You will still gain 100xp :) ArnoudX 14:09, February 2, 2010 (UTC)
Why does it say 7-10 on the Pod page, and 8-15 on the Gnome Restaurant page?
These pods have been used recently for new scamming attempts. A brief summary goes as the victim drops his or her item, and the scammer trades one of these to " launch " them away. It may be worthwhile to mention this as part of a "Trivia " section to warn other players.

Item can be used to scam people
I have seen this item being used as a scam tool.
Luckily I only tested with the scammer with a small amount of cash, but it turns out when you trade this item to somebody there is a way for it to automatically teleport you. Scammers use this with a two man team, one tells you he knows of a bug to give you cash. He then tries to get you to drop all your items and trade for a large stack of cash and the seed pod. He says you must click the seed pod after the trade.
Another person tells you not to listen but that you can scam the scammer by just picking your items back up and not clicking the grand seed pod.
HOWEVER: accepting the grand seed pod in the trade automatically teleports you. You don't have to click anything :).
just thought that should be mentioned somewhere in the wiki page, maybe in the "trivia" section so people can look this up.
