Fixed the quest text, changed snails to mackerels.Gundoggy

This is a bit pants i must admit, I'll try and go through it again next week.

I'm expecting part four to be called 'Bored with the Myreque', part five to be 'Having homicidal tendencies towards the Myreque' and finally 'Myreque? What Myreque?' --Eucarya 23:20, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Gadderhammer bug?

I'm towards the end of the quest, just bringing Ivan to the temple, had to stop. However, after defeating Gadderanks, Veliaf didn't give me the Gadderhammer because my inventory was full, he said to talk to him again when I had space in my inventory. However, everytime I've talked to him since I haven't had the option of asking about the hammer, and for some reason I've never recieved it from him again. Will I be able to get it by the end of the quest, or is this a problem/bug? ^TIRRIAN_GANT ^(TALK) 14:12, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

Raw mackerel no substitute for snails

Someone put in that you could use raw mackarels instead of snails. After testing, I have found this to be misinformation. Thus, I removed it, because it obviously is NOT a substitute for snails and doesnt work for the quest. Wejer 16:07, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

Um. To anyone reading this, he asks for Raw Mackarels OR Snails. He doesn't ask for both; he either asks that you deliver Raw Mackarels, or that you deliver Snails. One cannot be used as a substitue; you have to bring him exactly what he asks for. 50.72.33.136 04:17, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

The Rod of Ivandis

Hey Needs some help on this part....I have all the items/req's (Items needed: soft clay, silver bar, mithril bar, sapphire, cosmic rune, water rune, rope, hammer) but ive escorted Ivan and killed vamps but still cant tlk to drezel...he just says hes up here watching the vampire..and then says off with you. My Quest Journal says i need to talk to him but wont let me....ive tryed to re escort but they moved to Burg De Rot already...After i Escorted Ivan i accidently clicked and idk what seems to b rong...

That's an odd problem... I don't think you're meant to talk to Drezel upstairs in the church, talk to him in the Mausoleum. That's all I can suggest really.

Noted mackerel

It just occurred to me (as a friend was doing the quest) that if one did Shades of Mort'ton first, one could bring noted items, sell them to Razmire and rebuy. I haven't worked it out but I suspect it would be possible to fit all the items for Shades and this quest in one inventory (at least up to accessing the bank), thereby doing both quests with only one trip to Mort'ton. Fairy Rings to Mort'ton

In the quest walkthrough it is stated that the easiest way to Mort'ton is using the Fiary Rings, but i can't see where you should go. Can someone please tell me? Thanks in advance! --User:Tyilo/Signature 17:54, January 8, 2010 (UTC)

My guess is the guide is referring to ring code BKR, from which you would walk southwest to the nature grotto from the quest Nature Spirit, then south to the snail area, which you zigzag through to get to Mort'ton. Stewbasic 01:11, January 9, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, but it is much faster to take the tunnel behind the bar and then take the boat. Isn't it? Yeah, the alternate method described by coming back out through the tunnel and riding the swampy boat is much faster. Imma change it.UFeelNoPain^Talk 18:56, July 29, 2010 (UTC)

Juvinate problem

Every time I fight the juvinates with silverlight or a blessed silver sickle, they run off, and I can't get the proper text from Gadderanks

Guthix balance potion problem

I cleared the basement, but I didn't find any Guthix balance potion. So I had to go to G.E. and buy one. Is this a bug?

I don't think so. I never got one from the rubble either. If i'm right, you don't necesarily need it.

Raw Mackerels

The quest walkthrough states the need of raw mackerels. However, cooked ones work. I haven't tried raw ones.

Possible to lose all your items?

So.. basically your screwed and you will lose all of your items if you do not bring a silver weapon on the route with Ivan, because if you do not bring a silver weapon you cannot kill the juvinates, and there is no way to get the safety, you be will be in constant combat, and you will have to eventually die. • In Morytania, the general rule is that you always bring a Blessed Silver Sickle and Druid/Ouroboros Pouch, no matter where you're planning on going, unless you're just stopping in at Canifis. It wasn't really worth mentioning. Not to mention that the guide notes that you are going to be facing Juvinates on the trip, which should have told you right off the bat that you were going to need a silver weapon. Finally, if you feel that something is worth adding to an article, add it in, don't whine about it on the talk page. There's no special priveleges needed to edit a page here.
