This talk page is for discussing the Inferior locator page.

Untitled[]

I don't really know much about editing pages, so I'll just add some Data I collected while testing out the Inferior locator.

Possible teleportation locations for the Herblore Secondaries 1 option include the following (Note: There are likely more available teleports than the ones listed here):

The Red Spiders at the Edgeville Dungeon (Lvl 4 and 5 Wilderness). The Desert Goats near the Nardah bank. The Ponds with Swamp Toads and King Worms at the Gnome Stronghold. The Desert Goats southwest of the Kalphite Hive, near Palm Trees along the coastline. The Scavid Cave directly north of Bogrog. The Unicorns east of Camelot and west of Catherby. Mort Myre, south of the boat shortcut. Lumbridge Swamp near the Candle Salesman. Black Unicorns east of Relleka. Red Spiders in the Varrock Sewers. Swamp Toads at the lake south of Taverly.

Why is it useful?[]

Can someone please answer me this, and perhaps put it in the article for other people who are as confused as me... Why would I want this locator thing? It teleports me randomly to any of those places... So what if I have a pickaxe and I want to go mining, and then I click it and it takes me to a fishing spot? Why is that useful at all? Am I misunderstanding how it is used? -72.154.25.217 15:39, 11 July 2009 (UTC)

When the locator is activated, a menu is opened up and you can choose a category of resource to teleport to. These options are in the bold writing, on the main article page, including "Herblore Secondaries 1", "Fish 1", etc. You can't choose the specific spot within an associated category, but you can choose the category itself, such as "Herblore Secondaries 1", "Fish 1", or "Copper". This keeps the teleportations random, but doesn't take you somewhere unrelated to what you requested of the locator. Repatriator 21:26, 11 July 2009 (UTC)
