Disappearance[]

Can someone verify that only items worth less than 1000 coins appear to another player? Icy001^(talk) 02:09, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

Item images[]

Useless section[]

The Item Collecting section is completely useless. This is it:

"Some players have a fascination with collecting items, with many of these collected items being considered useless, expensive or obscure, such as useless items and quest items."

This should be removed.

That's about as useless as this entire page, so why not remove the page? Or just keep the "Useless" section. Warp9pnt9 21:05, November 6, 2011 (UTC)

Dropped items disappear if you leave area.[]

I've experienced this several times now since the bot-nuke. When I drop some items and teleport away, and come back within 60 seconds, the items are gone. They should not have been seen by anyone, and thus not picked up, and thus still there. I've had this happen at random with absences of less than 30 seconds as well. Some items were coins, logs or planks, others were non-tradeable like Serum 207 and Vyre corpses. Has anyone else noticed this? Has there been a change to the timers and conditions of dropped items? Longest named Item for Trivia section

Unfortunately atm I don't know the longest named item. I think it's: Dragon platelegs/skirt ornamental kit (sp), but I haven't exhausted the entire ltems list yet.

What's the difference between items having a pink and a blue name? It looks like pink cannot be traded, while blue can.

Colored item names?[]

What's this about different items having different colors for their names? I can very readily observe that this isn't so, at least in f2p. I've looked high and low for a setting to change, and I've tried the name at top-left and the name by the mouse. Would someone please enlighten me? --Grault (talk) 01:29, June 9, 2013 (UTC)

I'm currently F2P, and all items names are orange regardless of if they are membs-only or a F2p item. Although I think having the names different colors would be a nice feature, it doesn't seem to be that way right now.

Actually it seems non-members also have the different-colored names for items. But only in inventory and not in the bank.
