Background, Narnode's Theme, cavern I know these should be f2p...but they aren't For this page to be complete it needs these descriptions also, i have 143 tunes (dont have BH3, or those 3 ^)
From a text guide (may need revision):
Sad Meadow: NW in Wild, by the ice giants and the gate.
Legion: West of Battle Plains, at the Bandit Outpost in Wild
Moody: south of the Graveyard in the center of Wild
Underground: Chaos Altar, Forsaken Woods in Wilderness.
Cavern: Eastern ruins of wilderness.
Splendour: Zamorak altar, NW corner of non-wild F2P

Odd disparities; F2Pers help![]
I've added five tunes to the list: the Easter tune, the three stronghold of safety tunes and Unknown land which for some reason isn't on the list. However, here is the weird thing: I went through my list and compared it to this one and it didn't add up. First off, I don't have Attack 3 unlocked and the master list says that it is members only. I'd take it off but I would like confirmation from other F2Pers before I do. Second, I've got the following tracks unlocked: Background, Dragontooth Island, Legion, Moody, Splendour, Underground. These are all member tracks according to the master list so how did I, who has never once been a member, managed to unlock them? Does any other F2Pers have one or more of them unlocked? Third, according to the music interface, I have 139 unlocked tracks. If we look at this list of 135 tunes, remove Attack 3, remove Bounty Hunter Level 3 (I'm level 70) and add the six "member only" tunes, I get 139. Two things: one, apparantly there's a bug so shouldn't the interface tell me I have 140 tracks and second, could the veteran F2Pers here (that is those who have gone pretty much everywhere on F2P) tell us what number music their interface unlocked so we can get a de facto number of F2P tunes available.
- I'm 99% sure dragontooth island is members only. jagex is having issues with the music system, or so I hear, so that may be the problem. hope that helps

Hello. I just went through my list and found all the songs I had that were not listed. Currently I have Legion, Dragontooth Island, Moody, Narnode's Theme, and Underground. All of which are not listed in the article. Hope this helps. Oh, I have splendour too. I have never been a member. Also, How the heck do i get cavern?! ive searched all over!

I've managed to unlock background, dragontooth island, legion, and moody as well, and I've never been a member. I got the background one at the gravedigger random event the day they updated the music player.

umm, hi, i have 135 music tracks and yet i still dont have bounty hunter 3, and the event tunes before easter 2007. I also seem to have the tune "Dragontooth Island" and ive never been a member!!!

- Yes I have those "weird" ones unlocked too. I have 141 tracks out of the 135 and I do not have Bounty Hunter 3 nor one of the wildy ones above the lava maze. So I should have 136 (6 extra.... :-o). Gnomecopter flyovers give access to several (don't know how many exactly) member songs as now noted on the page; I have confirmed that Attack 3 is member only and deleted it from the list. I haven't been able to get Bounty Hunter Level 3, and can say it doesn't come automatically with enrty into high level cave. Any ideas on that one anybody? Delta46 04:43, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
- I have 148 songs unlocked, (including all of those listed by Earthere). I believe I have every f2p song unlocked, (which doesn't include cavern, are you guys sure that's f2p?). I can't tell you much more then what the hint says, as far as unlocking songs goes, but if you have any questions on whether or not a song is f2p, I'd be happy to answer them.

Hi there! I've never been a member and have 145 f2p songs unlocked (may 6th 2009). According to the guide on this page i have 8 songs missing! Cavern, Moody and Uncercurrent should bee unlockable in the wilderness but i don't have them yet. I don't have the song from the gnomecopter tour (at the grand tree), the castle wars and the bounty hunter songs. A new one is here, snack attack, unlocked when you get the sandwich lady event, but i haven't had that one since they changed random events. Hope this helps, and that someone can help me unlock Cavern, Moody, Undercurrent! Bye!
You can now unlock all three bounty hunter tunes by entering a bounty hunter world!

Note new edit on songs available via gnomecopter flyovers; my guess is that's where you got these.I don't have a full list of those which are available that way, mostly because I find gnomecopters boring. I also haven't unlocked Attack 3 so I believe it is member only.

Can someone describe in detail how they got "Cavern" in the red spider's area? Some f2p friends and I are on a quest to get all the f2p music :-D.

When I right-click on cavern to unlock the hint, it says: Unlocked at Yanille agility Dungeon." So I don't think you canget this as F2p (anymore).

150 really are unlockable[]
I just unlocked 150 tracks, and have always been compleyely F2P. The ones I cannot unlock which are (mistakenly?) listed here are: "Cavern," "Cavernous Mythology," "Narnode's Theme," "Underground," and "Winter Funfare."
If anyone knows any differently that these are definitely F2P-unlockable, please post here saying so. Otherwise, I'll remove them next week. Oh, and I did use the gnomecopter, and didn't get Narnode's Theme and whatever others were supposedly unlocked by using that while it existed.

I have 155 songs total, and have also been completely F2P. I have cavernous mythology, underground, and winter funfare. Cavernous mythology and winter funfare were part of a quest that was f2p for the first week, then later members. I do not know how I got underground. how do you on unlock gaol? i have 150 songs but gaol should be unlockable, and i went there and it doesn't work,
For f2p 149 is unlockable. 151 is unlockable if you have done the quest "Myths of the White Lands", which was only available for f2p during the 2008 christmas Event. If u haven't done it then you can't unlock it anymore. The ones you unlock from "Myths of the White Lands" are Cavernous Mythology and Winter Funfare. Include Glitched Member Tracks?[]
Do you think we should find and list these, like for example, I just found Mage Arena just between GE and Border, where it depresses into the GE. Actually, that area is really really glitchy for me. As I walked from tile to tile it cycled to about 20 different music tracks, some were right, some weren't. Actually, with the exception of that, all songs were f2p wildy/varrock/edgeville songs. Not just low wilderness, like far corners even. I also saw the digsite. I'm checking this on another character just to be safe though, but this might be a nice spot to unlock some music. I'm not sure, this seems weird, but isn't unlocking anything. It was randomly cycling through songs I had that were anywhere near there, but not unlocking any otherwise. And now it is doign this for me all accross the wilderness border, which is pretty annoying, stepping off then on the dirt by the ditch causes my music to change to some music from like, deep wilderness.

Tournament![]
I found a track not on the list(Tournament!). From its respective page it seems to be free, and I've gotten it too, to further the point so if if someone can confirm this we should probably add it?
Also to the poster above, those tracks are probably theme songs which play around the area they're found or in similar areas. For example the "Tiptoe" track plays in dungeons, as well as in Draynor Manor cellar.

Total number of tracks?
I currently have 227 f2p tracks unlocked, but my dungeoneering is low and this list can be easily increased by 4 boss tracks. I don't have Narnode's theme and Tle lost tribe also. This brings total possible tracks up to 233.
I'm currently at 253 music tracks now with the Runespan music tracks; the 2 new Daemonheim tracks and Ga'al which seems to have been unlocked with the Elder Kiln update. This is missing Background, but having pretty much all other retired F2P tracks.Aximillio 22:26, May 9, 2012 (UTC)

What is the Longest Music Track in Runescape?
Is Arrival No longer F2p? Also Contest is in the list but Mems[]
I can't seem to unlock Arrival. I've gone to the Gem shop in West Falator walked all around, even used the agility shortcut (since you can train Agility to Lvl5 in F2P), and nothing works.
Also description says This track unlocks automatically (for Members), can anyone verify if the description changed?

Thx for your help, also Contest is in the list, which I don't have, and when you go to the actual page it says it is a Members-only track. Around Death Plateau/south of Trollheim used to be F2P? I found 'the ambush point'. Apparently it looks a little different to the time when I visited where there was a troll during the tutorial, and therefore going east did allow me to unlock Contest. So, as I was saying, I added several songs that were new (such as the Battle of Lumbridge songs), and some others that weren't in the list but were unlocked in my list. I now have 303 songs unlocked, the only ones I haven't really unlocked are the ones from doing the Stolen Hearts quest.

Do we need Discontinued?[]
I just updated the list quite a bit as I'm trying to collect all f2p music tracks. I really don't think we need to have discontinued tracks listed, perhaps just put a little blurb about how some tracks may be unlocked from the past on an an account even if they were never a member should suffice honestly.
