Points not gained while mining shooting stars

I was mining a shooting star for 7 minutes when it was a size 9, and for about 25 minutes before it was mined to the core. I checked my wardrobe twice, and I had Lunarfury boots 1 active the whole time. After I mined the star, I mined some harmed ores with the same overrides and received points.
