Hides into Bags?

I'm pretty sure that you cannot make torn bags out of bovimastyx hides. Every type of bovimastyx had that added into it that the hides "are also use for making torn bags, making them even more valuable to players." While they probably were at some point used to make the torn bags, it's not possible to actually make one; you have to get them from the drops. I took the liberty of taking this part out from the bovimastyx pages, but tell me if I've made a horrible mistake about this. The Dalek 23:46, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Change title

"Bovimastyx" is the generic name, not the name of a particular breed. The game guide states it clearly in the Hunter section of Dungeoneering. Jampolo 23:25, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

No wait, there's already a Bovimastyx article. Per Help:Moving_pages#Why_should_I_move.2Frename_a_page.2C_instead_of_creating_a_new_one.3F, we need to preserve this page's history, but I can't move this to Bovimastyx as that page has already been created... Could an admin please correctly move/merge this page with Bovimastyx? I'm not sure how to do it while preserving both pages' history... User:Lil diriz 77/Signatures 23:46, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

By the way, the plural of Bovimastyx is Bovimastyxes. Words that end in "x" get "es" added on. I don't know where "Mastices" came from. User:Lil diriz 77/Signatures 23:49, May 19, 2010 (UTC)

That is because -ix- makes -ices-, looked pretty similar. I think that this is quite confusing. Because some examines say: "A mastyx trap" whilst there is a Bovimastyx near the Behemoth... Fswe1 11:35, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

It seems to me that the word Bovimastyx itself is both plural and singular considering the way Jagex uses the word in http://services.runescape.com/m=rswiki/en/Dungeoneering_Hunter_Tables. Jagex's grammar might not be correct in the english language but it is their game so I think their grammar should be used on this wiki. Samberen 20:49, December 5, 2010 (UTC)

Less Experience?

There's a rumor going around everytime I go dungeoneering. People are saying that if you kill any of these beasts, you'll get less experience. Can anyone confirm or deny this? I personally don't believe it, but it'd be nice to have more than just my own observations on this. Espeonage64 08:58, January 30, 2011 (UTC)

I didn't think so, and I really don't see why it would in the first place, but it'd just be nice to have more people not believe it than to have people spreading the rumor around. I don't know. I don't even know how it got started in the first place. Maybe someone mistook the end of floor experience formula wrong and related it to their death when they got low experience gain? *shrug* Espeonage64 08:43, February 4, 2011 (UTC)
