If I understand the Podcast correctly, this quest features Sliske; but is a 'sequel' to TWW (sequel in the sense that it happens after TWW). This'd imply we have another quest due still also featuring Sliske, and the story of how he gained ownership of the Elder staff (and was able to fix it), right? IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 10:53, June 21, 2013 (UTC)

Yes, I think it is a sequel but it doesn't mean we get a second quest explaining how Sliske obtained and fixed the Elder Staff. The majority of the quest could take place after TWW but how Sliske got the staff could be covered in some dialogue or a flashback of some kind during this quest. Maybe even a flashback section where you control Sliske as he does those things, which would be super-awesome.04ismailjj6 (talk) 11:17, June 21, 2013 (UTC)
It was said in that podcast, that it didn't was the sequel to TWW, more like the start of a new storyline. Dragon dagger AmoVos 11:26, June 21, 2013 (UTC)
Hmm, later on in the podcast (~18:40 or a tad earlier) they apparently say how Sliske got the Elder staff back was going to be revealed in this quest. And I explicitly wrote 'sequel' before, as it's not a direct 'sequel in terms of storyline', but rather 'a sequel in terms of timeframe; aka it happens after the events of TWW'. I fought 3 or 4. I think you only fight them until one drops the box, and that number is random within a small range. Dsctatom (talk) 17:48, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

The proper shadow is a mask of Sliske, much like his Faction symbol. It's not that hard to do if you put an illustration of the symbol on the page. Good luck everyone! -- ThatOneCH00B 18:11, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Batman forever reference

i think its very similiar that the act Sliske pulls with Death and the Dragonkin is almost the same what the Riddler does in Batman forever. What do you guys think? (Dominus Ars (talk) 19:23, October 15, 2013 (UTC))

He came off as more joker-lke to me. He could very well be drawing on batmna villains in general, though. Butts (talk) 21:03, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

The Cabbage

The Cabbage is not Brassica Prime but a normal cabbage set as his place holder, Brassica prime is much larger and has a upwards bounce to him. This cabbage is small and has no movment at all.

Brassica could easily have shrunk and decided not to go bouncing around for such an occasion. Besides, it would break the whole invitation only thing - the podium was for Brassica, not for one of Brassica's followers, just like the other gods Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 02:57, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
I tried to examine the cabbage at many times and had no options on it, so unless they forgot to add it and 1 of the god would of for sure mentioned the Cabbage at 1 point or another. Vengance183 (talk) 03:00, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
They would have mentioned it if a cabbage was there. One of them had a fit when Itchlarin was let in, and he is a god, so why would they let a cabbage in uncontested? Unless if it was actually Brassica Prime (who has previously unknown power to be accepted by the likes of Saradomin). As for the examine text, all that proves is that Jagex made Brassica as part of the podium rather than as a separate NPC in this case Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 03:04, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
I'm just saying I think the cabbage was put there a place holder for the real Brassica, but he never showed. And yes i know the podiums have the symbols for that very reason Vengance183 (talk) 03:10, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
Then why was the cabbage green instead of black? The other place holders were all black Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 03:11, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
I am refering to a non developer place holder. Some one put the cabbage there so when Brassica arived he would know where to sit. but if you want the wiki to say it was him then fine, I will stop changeing it then. Vengance183 (talk) 03:18, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

I kinda agree here, there is no proof stating that it is Brassica Prime, and it very unlikely to me. Rsshadow (talk) 08:57, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
Ok, so why would Brassica's placeholder be GREEN when all the others were BLACK? All the others had their symbols on their seats in BLACK, not GREEN, and did not have a lackey sitting in their place for them. As for no proof that it is brassica, I disagree. Sliske did not allow the other gods to have representatives mark their place or sit in, so why would he break that for Brassica? And if it was just a cabbage, then why would the others remain silent when they get pissed off about an actual GOD when Itchlarin walked in? As for not leaving with the rest - Saradomin and Zamorak are confirmed false users and thus targets for the dragonkin so they had to leave, Armadyl was freshly returned so he had no idea what was happening so he fled, and Bandos wouldn't want to take on a foe that can scare off 3 gods so he fled. And Itchlarian tried to protect a false user so he was a target. Brassica though was either small enough to hide behind the podiums in front or knew he was not considered a threat or was associated with a false user and so saw no reason to leave. So, given all this, why would it not be brassica? Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 19:16, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
I just did the quest and the symbols on the chairs were different colours, corresponding to that Gods colour, not all black. I doubt the cabbage is Brassica Prime, simply because:
  • It doesn't look like him
  • The other Gods complained about Icthlarin, they wouldn't let a cabbage in unless Brassica Prime is more powerful than the rest which is unlikely since it's Tier 5.
I think the cabbage was there as an equivalent to the symbols on the other podiums, since Brassica Prime doesn't have a symbol like the other gods. Plus on Brassica Prime's page his symbol is an actual cabbage, not a picture or symbol of one. 04ismailjj6 (talk) 20:35, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
But this is assumtions there is no physical proof that cabbage is him but at the same time no proof it is not him tho. Vengance183 (talk) 19:37, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
The trivia currently states as a fact that it is Brassica, and unless there is proof I think that should be removed. And I would like to present a third option: the cabbage is just there as a little Jagex fun.Rsshadow (talk) 21:55, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure the cabbage is not Brassica, just the equivalent of the purple haze over Zaros's podiumSeneca 5 (talk) 13:34, October 17, 2013 (UTC)
Mod Jack seems to believe the cabbage is Brassica, although he could be wrong. Prior to release, it WAS said that Brassica would be in the quest, though. And Brassica not being his usual size isn't a reason to say it isn't Brassica, if you notice, hardly any of the gods present were at their "natural" size, Bandos is usually MUCH larger, and Saradomin and Zamorak were larger during the BOL. The examination info of the Guthix pedistal is interesting... he gave everyone a reason to be there... ormanipulated everyone to be there. It didn't really work for all (Marimbo might not have thought Sliske could throw a good party, Seren might not feel to confront Saradomin even if she could (being shattered)). I think the cabbage might have well been a joke by Sliske. Prime talked before, why not now? . . . Yours, Void Knight banner Enquidou Talk Quest Icon Crest . . 13:53, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
The symbols are neither black, nor coloured in their respective colours. They are purple. And on the podium for Brassica Prime there is a purple symbol below the green cabbage. So that is definite proof that the cabbage is not the symbol. As for why they made him (never got that, brassica is a female word) part of the decor, I have no idea, and even decor can have examine texts. Not leaving even after the quest is over is also weird. Zaros was part of the decor and he left as well. I think it's just a blunder by Jagex that they're trying to somehow justify now. Promissory noteTHARKON 16:52, November 7, 2013 (UTC)

How did Sliske get the Stone?

I'm confused. It kinda seems like Sliske got the Stone by using the Dragonkin, and he got the Dragonkin by using the Stone.

He got the Stone by using the Staff on the Dragonkin, revealing their connection, which allowed him to trace the stone. But he got the Dragonkin to charge after him in a blind rage which they only do if you use the Stone...

So which came first? Rsshadow (talk) 09:49, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

He probably just attacked the dragonkin to make him angry. 11:30, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

He pretended to use the SoJ to lure the dragonkin guarding the SoA into the shadow realm then used the SoA to locate the SoJ Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 19:17, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
My interpretaion was that Strisath was guarding the SoA. Sliske appeared and attempted, or at least pretended to attempt, to steal the SoA. Strisath attacks him and Sliske moves into the Shadow Realm. Strisath grabs the SoA and follows Sliske into the Shadow Realm, where Sliske traps Strisath. Sliske then uses the SoA to follow the connection all Dragonkin have with the SoJ back to the Stones physical location and then (presumably) moves it somewhere so that only Sliske knows where it is (The Shadow Realm maybe?). Thus Sliske now has the SoA, SoJ and a captured Strisath. He then captures Death and sets the quest in motion. 04ismailjj6 (talk) 20:27, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

Koschei's Troubles?

I've only done the Blue Jewel of Koschei's Troubles miniquest and the dialogue with Kharshai at the citadel implies there is more dialogue for each jewel you have shown him. Kharshai said he felt like something was missing from him emotionally. 04ismailjj6 (talk) 20:35, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

I think it's more of a teaser for future content, as I've unlocked all the jewels and he said the same. Believe it or not, it's just me... 20:58, October 16, 2013 (UTC)

Death's involvment in this event

There are a few things that do not seem logical too me here; How can you threaten Death with death if his role is that important and since been chosen for his role by whoever set the natural laws of Gilinor.

Also how can you simply 'kidnap death'?

Post Quest Dialogue

Hi guys! So far we have found post quest dialogue on Azzanadra. There is also post quest dialogue from Wahisetel - please take at look at this example (Mini Spoiler alert, I guess!)[1]. Will try and add this to the relevant transcript when I come back from training. Both my attempts to add this to the 'Trivia' have been reverted, so if another editor could add I'd be much obliged. Don't want to look like I am spamming. Is there any other NPCs with post quest dialogue? Think it'd be good to let players know.

Hope everyone is well --Akthanakos camel chathead Karimabuseer Talk Azzanadra ghost 10:23, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

So Sliske added podiums for all Gods from Tiers 2-6 except for Tumeken, Elidnis and Amascut. I can understand not inviting Amascut since she's insane and only a demi-god to boot, but why not invite Eldinis or Tumeken? Both are more powerful than Icthlarin who was invited. Also why the podium for Guthix? Sliske knows Guthix is dead since Sliske killed Guthix himself, and given Sliske's capacity for complex planning it seems strange he would overlook such a significant detail. Thoughts?04ismailjj6 (talk) 14:36, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

I think he doesn't deem the desrt gods as worthy (plus they don't always seem involved with the world in the larger context), or knows Tumeken isn't available (he might not have realized Seren is shattered and unable to attent, even if she wanted to), Brassica Prime may have been a little joke/insult to other gods (like the Guthix pedestal displays a message too, may as a warning, maybe as some sort of proof like the dragonkin was (Zamorak became a god after killing Zaros) maybe just to troll...), he has had an interesting history with Iccy so that's why he might have invited him (while the other desert gods are not worthy or able to attent, he might enjoy trolling Iccy). Also.. Marimbo might not have though Sliske could throw a good party... btw... maybe Marimbo and Apmeken are good girlfriends or even the same entity??:P   . . . Yours, Void Knight banner Enquidou Talk Quest Icon Crest . . 14:47, October 18, 2013 (UTC)
According to Mod Slayer Tumeken was not invited because he is separated in lesser deities, and Elidinis is not present on Gielinor, and Icthlarin was just invited to rub it in his face & Marimbo will have been more concerned with hosting her own welcome back party.
