Xau-Tak reference

So I got this piece of dialogue during the end of the fight in Zanik's personal hell, I think it triggered because of the Strange Glowing Orb sequence I completed, at least one person I talked to didn't get it so I thought I'd post it here. Jochmen (talk) 16:00, February 15, 2016 (UTC)

Interesting. I didn't get it, but then again I don't have that orb yet. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 16:43, February 15, 2016 (UTC)
I have the red orb and I didn't get that dialogue. --User:Heavyoak/Signature 20:18, February 16, 2016 (UTC)
Might possibly be linked to knowing about Xau-Tak from Hero's Welcome or Kindred Spirits as neither of those is required for the quest. Incidentally I have both of them completed and didn't get the dialogue without the orb. Joats (talk) 01:19, December 19, 2016 (UTC)

Ravensworn reference

I got a ravensworn reference during the interrogation of Legio Septimus. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 16:43, February 15, 2016 (UTC)

Trouble Brewing

In the first part of the quest, I investigated the crystals last and the throne blew up. Still got sent to death's office though, I'm thinking order doesn't matter. Derek XI (talk) 20:05, February 15, 2016 (UTC)

I randomly received 300 inspiration when I was fishing after I did this quest, while I already have had the inspiration for this level. I'm assuming this is also a quest reward? Since you need that amount to perfectly discover Soul-in-a-box and Urn enhancer. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 00:44, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Correct, an additional reward that isn't exactly mentioned is an Inspiration cap increase, allowing you to discover those two new invention items. Abyssal vine whip TonyBest100 Bandos chestplate 15:16, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Shame/Guilt fight

I only fought Shame during this quest and was able tae open the Guilt chest without the key. Template:Signatures/Ciphrius Kane 15:26, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

I did it the other way around, I only fought Guilt and got the key, and I could open the Shame chest without either. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 15:52, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Shortcut vs Staying with Battering Ram Rewards

Has anyone seen a reward difference between opting to protect the battering ram or just using the shortcut? --Deltaslug (talk) 16:59, February 16, 2016 (UTC)

Zanik's Attack Waves

Any other tips on the third Zanik wave? I usually dont use Legacy, but they are simply destroying me Palumatzu (talk) 07:12, March 7, 2016 (UTC)

I just used EoC as always, and I managed to defeat all waves losing only a few goblins. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 17:05, March 7, 2016 (UTC)
What equipment are you using? No matter how hard I try, my accuracy sucks, they rush past me, and 5 die all at the same time because I can't kill fast enough. Keep in mind i'm using Bandos equipment with Bandos godsword. Palumatzu (talk) 06:55, March 10, 2016 (UTC)
I'd really suggest using magic, preferably ice magic. I do have to say that I was maxed before Invention and I believe I did use T90, although I don't really remember what I used. I did stream the whole quest, so I can check what I wore. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 09:06, March 10, 2016 (UTC)

Cthulu Mythos reference

Sorry if I'm posting this wrong, I don't really use Wikis.  Anyways, after you save Hazelmere he mentions a line saying something along the lines of "I swear I felt dogs staring at me from every corner" or something like that, which is a pretty direct reference to the short story "Hounds of Tindalos", (talk) 05:12, March 10, 2016 (UTC)JimPaladin

Hmm, interesting. When I first saw that line I thought it was a reference to Google's Deep Dream pics (which often have doglike figures in them). But the Lovecraftian reference makes sense too. 08:18, April 23, 2016 (UTC)

trivial trivians

said bout the concept art havin two known charaters and others that are most likely seen in the quest, but not recognized from the flow of souls that wander in the afterlife/Gielinor. ifuknowhadimean

Acqe (talk) 16:15, April 6, 2016 (UTC)

I don't know what any of this means --Iiii I I I 16:25, April 6, 2016 (UTC)

The quest's concept art featured Nomad, Vanstrom Klause, Colonel Grimsson, a troll, a human, and a goblin, although none of these characters, other than Nomad, appeared in the quest. They are all dead, aren't they? I do know i may have been little overreacting on the matter, stuffing answer that they indeed were seen, just like many others but in no way recognizable in soul form, furthermore amongst the how many hundreds of thousands of souls seen in the quest. Nomad Clone HP

Do the clones have as much hp a the real deal? Palumatzu (talk) 22:22, May 3, 2016 (UTC)

Yes, but if you defeat the real one, you won't have to also defeat the clown. Or atleast that's how it was when I did it on release day. Salix of Prifddinas (Talk) 17:26, May 4, 2016 (UTC)

Does anyone know if Dreadnips work on this guy? Palumatzu (talk) 20:49, May 28, 2016 (UTC)

Article should mention Resonance during Nomad's fight; resonance doesn't work with Nomad's standard attacks, but it does work (very well) during his special attack when the player is teleported to the center of the bridge, and Gielinor's hand comes down on them 04:31, May 8, 2017 (UTC)
