Max hp

Isn't his max hp 1250? "1000; 1500 in battle healing at first 1/4 health back to 1/2 health."

1000 for starters, at 250 he goes back to 500, thus 1000+250? 213.93.147.160 15:57, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

I made the description clearer; changed to "1000; 1250 in battle, healing back 1/2 health (500) when first time at 3/4 (750)."--Runerune239 13:21, January 16, 2010 (UTC)

Race

Are you sure he is a human? He could be an elf knowing the Soul Wars Island is west of Tirannwn. His hood could also be covering his elf ears if he is an elf. Gilded clock (flatpack)--Tealclocktalk07:41, 15 February 2009 (UTC)

Title?

Is Nomad his title or his name? If the former, props to Jagex for a Crysis reference. :D WWTDD? 21:24, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Generaly a Nomad is a person who wanders from place to place insted of having a permanent home. I have never seen or heard anybody with the name nomad, so I am guessing thats his title. Gilded clock (flatpack)--Tealclocktalk07:35, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
The Game Guide addresses him as Nomad, instead of the Nomad. WWTDD? 14:10, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
Still, knowing he has a camp, it is very likely that he is A nomad and that he wanders from place to place. Besides Nomad isent even a name. Gilded clock (flatpack)--Tealclocktalk04:51, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

Nomad isn't a proper name for someone, however, a parent can probably name their child anything they want (Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin for example) I wouldn't know why they'd name him Nomad though. Axearmour1 06:52, 28 February 2009 (UTC)

Chaos Elemental Suitcase

According to the people figuring out the new Chaos Elemental Suitcase in the Postbag from the Hedge, Nomad is mentioned in one of the hints:

Lucien -> You've been waiting for Lucien's whereabouts, Nomad is too frightened. [Blue Note deciphered using shorthand writing]

Nomad is frightened of what? Is he a Mahjarrat too? Is this why he's gathering souls.. to become stronger?

QFC: 16-17-157-59341543

Should this be mentioned in the article? --Madmarkx 10:02, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm also rather interested in the fact that Nomad may be a Mahjarrat. In the suitcase, the sheet of paper titled HARDENS SOUTH is signed zzz. Zimberfizz's signature, anyone? During the Soul Wars Tutorial, the imp tells us that Nomad is obsessed with getting as many souls as he can into the Soul Obelisk (which he built himself!) Nomad may indeed be gathering souls in preparation for the upcoming ritual. Also, the graphical update he just received makes him look more mysterious... more Mahjarrat-like.  Tien  14:24, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

i agree- perhaps the first hints of wgs part 2? wgs 1 hints started coming out years before the quest came out.

I haven't beaten Nomad yet, but his rationale for his actions is that he went rogue from his 'Master' and needs to harness the souls gathered from Soul Wars in order to prepare for the day when his Master comes himself, instead of sending assassins and emmisaries. That offers no proof either way for Nomad being a Mahjarrat, but it does continue the implication. Cheers, Penderwyll 20:03, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

motive

what is his motive in Nomads Requiem?Runite ore Toa vine Mining cape 20:57, January 11, 2010 (UTC)

Nomad

Ok. I was thinking today about Nomad possibly being a Majharatt. A little bit of evidence:

-Even though he isn't mentioned in Zemouregal's notes, as Azzandra said: there could be many of us returning from different dimensions -Zemouregal didn't mension him, so he probably does not attend The Ritual, maybe the souls he collects could allow him to stay powerful (i.e. the soul obelisk is like the stone in the ritual) -"Sometimes he slips away and, when he comes back, his fingernails glow and he's got sparkles in his eyebrows, like he's been near summat magic." - Zimberfizz

Highest maximum hit

As Jad had the highest max hit in game for many years wouldn't it be trivia worthy that with the Nomad's Requiem update Jad was dethroned since Nomad can hit up to 98, sure it's only on people with 99 HP but it still might be worth mentioning. Not a majharatt

Taken from the main page: "Elite dark warriors are in the service of Surok Magis, and by extension the Mahjarrat Lucien, so it would make sense for them to be 'assassins' sent to kill him, if indeed Nomad is Bilrach in disguise."

Lucien would not send assassins to kill a Majharatt, he would capture them and sacrifice him during the ritual. I think this is the true evidence Nomad is not a Majharatt but simply someone who used an artifact similar to the Stone of Jas to gain godlike powers.-- Ruderion (Talk) Farming cape (t) 17:16, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

If he isn't Mahjarrat, then he simply betrayed Surok Magis. Remember when he looked exactly like those Elite dark mages? Tokkul detail Inhaps talk 17:22, January 12, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe Nomad used to be an Elite Dark Mage under the service of Lucien, but after he somehow discovered what he intended to do with the Stone of Jas and the Staff of Armadyl, he quit from his servitude and was gathering souls to use their power to make himself more powerful to destroy Lucien. Nomad mentioned something about a "master" of his, perhaps it's just Lucien just that he's so powerful he still deserves some respect from him. That would explain why all those Elite Dark assassins were sent to kill Nomad, so he couldn't stop their master Lucien. When Nomad dies, he says something about "You have doomed the fate of this world", meaning now he's been defeated he's probably so weak that now nothing can stop Lucien from taking over the world or something. However, maybe he thought that we were so weak we wouldn't understand his goals, or just to protect us from Lucien--Sunspear (melee)JampoloBlisterwood polearm 22:51, January 12, 2010 (UTC).

Yes, but Lucien is partnered with his cousin Zemouregal, who said "Bilrach is of average power for our kind. He seems willing to go along with what I suggest, so he will be useful for now." Why would Zemouregal not do anything when his cousin sent black knights? And there is a chance that they aren't even Lucien's, as he isn't the only one who control them. Yeah, maybe Daquarius sent them. BUT Lucien is NOT partnered with Zemouregal....yet. He just sent an OFFER to forge an alliance with him. Zemouregal rejected the idea at first, but after Defender of Varrock he says he will consider it, he NEVER explicitly says he accepted the proposal. And, if I haven't mentioned it before, I don't think Nomad is a Mahjarrat. He isn't even of "average" power for a Mahjarrat, he's way too powerful to fit with that description.--Sunspear (melee)JampoloBlisterwood polearm 01:12, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Mahjarrat are supposed to be powerful. He's the only possible Mahjarrat we've fought, so we don't know exactly how strong the Mahjarrat are. Even the weakest Mahjarrat might be pretty strong.  Tien  02:18, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

OK then, he's powerful enough to match a Mahjarrat's average power, but that doesn't mean he's a Mahjarrat. And think about it, the fact that he may have used to work for Lucien fits perfectly, and way more than being a Mahjarrat himself--Sunspear (melee)JampoloBlisterwood polearm 03:27, January 13, 2010 (UTC).

I just found that one of the assassins sent to kill Nomad says "I'll give you a challenge, traitor!". I noticed he calls Nomad "traitor", making somewhat evident the fact that Nomad used to be one of them.--Sunspear (melee)JampoloBlisterwood polearm 05:53, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Nomad's look has radically altered since he was first introduced. We need to preserve a record of his original appearance. Someone has replaced it with the new look in BOTH the 2009 and 2010 infoboxes and elsewhere. Mamabear47 09:01, January 13, 2010 (UTC)

Is a dwarfcannon able to hit him? Or will he destroy it like other boss monsters do?

When I tried setting up the cannon in there, it gave me some message about how the power of his throne interfered with it. Basicly, you can't set it up in there. V0rtex64 03:18, January 16, 2010 (UTC)
