Jagex didn't add on the homepage the special attack that the weapon comes with. If you look through the Knowledge Base and look at special attacks, you can see the trident added to the bottom. Added this to the article.
Penance Trident "Reap" -
A chance of instantly killing an enemy with a Combat Level less than 50 (not including players, bosses, summoning familiars, or creatures that must be killed in a specific way). In PvP, 'Reap' has the same chance of removing a third of the opponent's current hitpoints.

- I don't think Jagex would put references to that kind of things in the game... anyways does anyone know what the exact chance is of reap activating? - I wouldn't know since I'll never play Barbarian Assault long enough to get it. I just hope the special attack's animation isn't recycled from the 'Reap' attack style animation of the Scythe... If it is... *facepalm* *headdesk*

It drains 50% of the special bar. I don't think the pest control portals would be affected, as it doesn't work against bosses per the manual's description. Oodi 22:33, January 19, 2010 (UTC)
